His birth would be around 1932 or 1937. He died in Toledo, OH near Newton Falls, OH around 1985 or some where there about. It was an automobile accident.. She has tried the Census, and Family Search.org. Her paternal grandmother is listed as a Mullato. What other places can look to ascertain the info that she needs to do her family tree?

1 AnswerLaw & Ethics1 decade agoPoor House?
Does anyone know anything about the Poor House in Charleston, WV during the 20's? My mother had told me her mother, whose name is Julia Simms died there. This is my grandmother. Her husband was Edward Simms. My grandmother, Julia year of birth was probably around 1908, and her year of death was probably around 1929. My mother, Frances Elizabeth Simms, was born July 3, 1928. She was 13 months when her mother died. My mother had told me that her father had bit her mother, causing her to contract blood poisoning. Which led to her death in 1929. She was adopted by a couple by the name of Elder Joseph Mills Wallace and Wilemena Howard of Hampton,VA . She died in 1932.

1 AnswerMedia & Journalism1 decade agoHave Researchers From Other Countries Found A Link Between Agent Orange And Muscular Dystrophy?
Is there any known research showing a connectiion between Agent Orange and muscular dystrophy? Are there any test which have been done by researchers from other countries outside of the United States ,who have done test on Agent Orange as well?. The reason why I am asking this question is because I suffer with Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy. I served with the Third Marine Division, First Marines, Fourth Battalion, D Company. As a mortarman in 60 mortars. I was in Viet Nam from August 14, 1968 to September 3, 1969. I was exposed to Agent Orange while in serving in combat in the field. In Corps I this was the second heaviest place sprayed with Agent Orange, besides Corps III. I was not born with this disease, nor was anyone else in my family.
I had the EMG'S, biopsy and blood test for neuromuscular problems. Tests showed nerve and muscle atropy problems.
I would appreciate your response. I hope this is detailed enough for you.
1 AnswerInfectious Diseases1 decade agoDoes Or Can Agent Orange cause Muscular Dystrophy, Is There Any Research On This?
I suffer with muscular dystrophy which I contracted while serving in Viet Nam from 8-14-68 to 9-3-69. I served in the 3rd Mar Div, Delta 1/4, D Company. I was not born with this disease, carry the gene nor is it dormant or autoimmune. Plus, no one in my family has it either. Doctors at Muscular Dystrophy Association have proven this through a fsh test, and have save that my condition is due to exposure to agent orange. I have been trying to get service connection for my condition ever since 1970. In the CFR of Title 38, subsection 3.307. it has listed Atrophy-Progressive muscular. Now, wouldn't muscular dystrophy fall into this category also?
I thank you in advance for your answer.
