Pain in inner thigh close to inner knee?
Hi y'all!
For the past few days I've been experiencing pain in my inner thigh/knee. It's been affecting my running. It'll hurt at the beginning then kinda go away. Then after an hour it'll come back. It feels kinda tense and sometimes there's a small limp when I walk.
If I lift my leg up my knee and upper thigh feel heavy and hurt.
If it helps I also have a lot of more muscle on my outer thighs vs inner
Thanks in advance !

Hey! I'm just wondering how much calories do you eat on a rest day?
I'm a 16 y/o female and I'm 5'6 weighing 125lbs, I run and do some strength stuff so I eat about 2400 cals a day. On my rest days I'll do squats and again some strength stuff and sometimes bike or swim. Do I still eat 2400 cals a day bc I'm active? What if I'm not active?
Thankssssssss! :-D

2 AnswersRunning8 years agoA bit confused on eating before a run/workout?
Hey! So when I ask what I should eat before a morning run I usually get simple things like one egg with a piece of toast or a banana and a cereal bar. If I'm running 10-12km shouldn't I be having a bigger breakfast? Won't I run outta energy? Btw I do eat after my runs aswell. I'm just kinda confused haha. Thanks in advance!

2 AnswersRunning8 years agoHow to be the leanest and healthiest weight for Cross Country?
Hey, I'm a 16 y/o female xc runner and I want to preform my very best, and I want to know what's the best weight to do so. I'm 5'6 and weigh 126lbs, I eat approx. 2400 cals a day, eating by the food pyramid. My pace for running is anywhere between 3:50/km-4:30/km depending on distance, mood, training, etc This year is a 5K race, and I want my pace to be 3:40/km-4:00/km. Right now my 5k pace is 4:40/km Any advice on what to eat before my runs? After? And a weight that'll balance between health and performance? Thanks in advance!
3 AnswersDiet & Fitness8 years agoMy phones not letting me get service?
Okay my service provider is Rogers and I have an Android phone. I can't get service my phone says there's no service provider. There's this little icon beside my service bars, it's this rectangle thingy with an exclamation mark on it.
Does anyone know what's the problem, and how to fix it?
Please and thanks!
1 AnswerCell Phones & Plans8 years agoHow to be the BEST runner I can be?
I'm currently injured, but when I head back to running (I'll be hungrier than ever) I want to train and eat the best I can for cross country season. I want to compete with the best in my province, but I know I'll have to bust my butt to do it, but what ever it takes I will do. I'm biking right now so I don't lose cardio and the muscle in my legs, when I head back out will running be a shock to my body or will I pick up? Also any advice for training, diet, anything?
Thanks!!
3 AnswersRunning8 years agoWill this much rest affect my cross country training?
Okay I'm resting from an ankle injury. I didn't run 3 days then I went running yesterday (10km) but now it hurts again so I'm resting today and possibly tomorrow. I really don't want this to affect my cross country training for the fall season, I've everything planned for training with runs, speed work, hill intervals, etc. Will resting this much affect how much I've worked so hard for? Will I lose my ground that fast?

1 AnswerRunning8 years agoCalorie intake for a runner?
I'm a 16 year old female runner and I know I need to eat 2000-2400 calories a day but I was wondering if that's with the extra calories I burn or if I need to eat that PLUS the calories I burn Also should I be eating the same calories on rest day?
1 AnswerDiet & Fitness8 years agoGood breakfast for runners?
I'm a runner and I know breakfast is key to start off the day right and help my run. But I need more ideas!!!
What I usually have
Raisin bran (no raisins, instead cranberries) with 2%milk and a banana
Or
Oatmeal prepared with 2% milk, banana
Or
Kashi cereal, 2% milk, banana
If I go running in the morning
Two toasts, one peanut butter other jam, glass of 2% milk, banana, nuts (almonds, peanuts) preaventia cereal bar
On a race morning
Two toasts or a bagel with peanut butter and jam, 2%milk, two bananas, another type of fruit, almonds, and a preaventia cereal bar
I've also heard having dairy before a run isn't good. Is that true?
Please help, I need more breakfast ideas, especially for race days!! Thanks!
3 AnswersRunning8 years agoFaster pace for distance running?
I'm a 16 y/o runner and I run 10-10 1/2 km, have rest day once every week or two, and my running pace starts off 4min km, but after a while like at 5 km it's slower. When I race my pace is 4:37 for 3000m, how can I improve it?
1 AnswerRunning8 years agoDiet for running AND pole vault?
I want to do cross country and go far in competition, I also want to do distance events in track and pole vault. Is the diet the same for both?
1 AnswerRunning8 years agoTips for faster distance pace?
When I'm on a run my pace is usually 4:40km-5km (min), when I race it's around 4:20-4:30km, I want to try to get into least a 3:50-4km pace, any advice? I run 10km or more, lots of hills, one being 2km, and I'm going to start training on track for speed laps, and maybe weights for pole vault.
