What should I do on the first date? Where to go and how to ask her?

I met this girl at work, she usually works at a different branch but because we had staff shortage she was asked by head office to work with us. I really liked her, but I didn't get her number, and I don't know of she'll work at my branch again.

Would it be creepy and awkward if I went to her branch and asked for her or should i call up her branch and speak to her.

So basically a girl worked with for 2 days and she isn t out regular staff, she usually works at another branch but due to staff shortage head office asked her to work at my branch for couple days. So I really liked her and from what I understand she also likes me according to my colleagues, but the the thing is I didn t ask for her number or anything like that I now I regret not asking. And because she is from another branch I don t know when she ll be back with us if she ever comes back. So my main question is that "should I go to her normal branch and ask her for the number or is that going to be awkward"? I really don t know what to do
