Shall we look at the men & women behind the curtain?
Regardless of our academic standing we are all earthlings inherently smart and very aware of all the strife in the world, yet we do very little collectively to change or end the greed driven monster. When I hear of perfectly good fields of food and live stock being ploughed under because of "price", it makes no sense to me. We all sit back and allow the Rich to dictate everything to us and we eventually accept it. There are only dozens of them and millions of us. The earth belongs to us all, that's our birthright. The world's immeasurable resources also belong to us all, yet we pay ridiculous prices to a greedy bunch who have more money than they know what to do with, and so, many of us go without the very basics. Fear is our real enemy. You all know that if we boycott one major company at a time the rest will soon take heed and get realistic in a hurry. The concept of just "love" your neighbour is ridiculous, what if we tolerated our neighbour and with time, learnt to like him/her first, then "love" could evolve naturally. Change is good, but if shoved down our throats it provokes fear and we resent that to the fullest. The internet has given us all the ability to speak and be heard. Yahoo and others have given us a forum to communicate on mass. Let's start pulling together and do something about this world we all live in. If a nation's people want nothing to do with us, fine, we'll deal with it responsibly. Let yahoo hear our messages and create a forum dedicated to world change for all. I'm just a person who has realized that people are our problem, but even more important, people are also our solution. I've also come to understand how fear has ruled our lives. I've also come to recognize that I'm not alone and I need people in my life to help and guide me. No one person has all the answers, however; with all the people on this planet, I'm sure we can come up with something. No matter how the media portrays the daily goings on of our planet, good people far outweigh the bad. Let's bring back the importance of family, friends and good times. I'm open to suggestions and more than willing to help more than I already do. I've never regretted doing the right thing, however; I've regretted missed opportunities to do good for goodness sake.
Thank you.
