He rarely showers, maybe once every few months & I can't get him to do it more often. He claims that his job (Army) is just so stressfull & tiring that he never has the energy to do it. I mean, I know when he was deployed in Iraq he didn't get to shower very often, but now that he's back home it should be a priority. I've even tried to get him to shower with me, but he's just too lazy. We are TTC, but I'm concerned that his dirtiness could give me an infection or prevent us from getting pregnant.

As of today, my period is due. Friday I took a pregnancy test (Wondfo test strips) & it was positive. Today I took a Clearblue digital & a First Response test, both were negative. I didn't use first morning urine for any of the tests.

Any clues?

some pregnant women don't ever get a positive HPT throughout their entire pregnancy?

The only ingredients I have are: a can of tomatoes, 2 cans of rotel & an onion.

Will it still taste like a decent salsa or are there any substitutes for the ingredients that I don't have?

My husband & I have been TTC for 4 months now. I have a 31 day cycle & should have started on the 27th. I checked my cervix throughout my cycle & I believe I ovulated around or on day 14. A week before AF was due, I noticed a brown discharge with a few tiny bits of tissue. At first, I figured I was just starting early, but that was all that I saw & I still have not started. Maybe implantation bleeding? I continued checking my cervix & noticed that 3 days before my period was due my cervix was low & open. It stayed that way up until the 27th (the day I was supposed to start.) Then it raised up & closed. It has gotten much softer since then & only the opening is firm. I also noticed that my breasts were somewhat tender on the sides. My nipples are not sore though. I've got loads of CM & have had some strange pains (sharp, but dull) in my abdomen & a few very mild cramps & have started getting mild headaches. I also felt very faint about a week & a half ago & remembered that I had the same feeling in my first pregnancy, which I miscarried. I have been extremely irritable the past 3 or 4 days. For instance, I heated up some frozen burritos the other night & they came out hard as rocks & I couldn't cut into them so I pretty much butchered them in fury. After taking the first bite & realizing they tasted like cardboard, I threw them away muttering obscenities under my breath. Now I look back on it & think, "Well that was a bit dramatic of me!" I've been snapping at my poor husband A LOT & seconds later I'm cuddling up to him. Anyway, I noticed yesterday that I felt nauseous most of the evening off & on. But only once did I feel like I was actually going to have to run to the bathroom.

I've never experienced it before, so I thought I'd get some opinions.

First of all, I ovulated about 8 days ago & my period is due in a week.

Anyway, I felt some discharge & am not expecting my period for another week. So I was a bit confused. Went to the bathroom to check & it was like a brown discharge & had maybe two or three very tiny bits of pinkish/red...what I would call tissue. No actual blood or anything & I haven't had any cramping. It was just strange to me & took me by surprise. I read that 20 to 30 percent of women experience implantation bleeding, so I'd love the opinions of those that have. Thanks so much!

We just got a lab puppy a few days ago, but he's laying here breathing really fast. He hasn't been playing around so he shouldn't be exhausted, it's not hot outside so he shouldn't be hot & he has plenty of water & has been drinking it. Is this normal or is it something he should be seen by a vet for?

If that's so & I were pregnant (I'm 2 weeks & 5 days late), wouldn't a pregnancy test show up positive by now? Yes I could have ovulated late, but even still, hasn't it been long enough for HCG to build up enough for a test to detect?

Yes, I posted this question before, but I only got 1 answer. Need a little more input! I am now 2 weeks & 4 days late. I don't know how many DPO, but it's definitely possible that I ovulated late. I've also been checking my cervix every day & it has stayed up pretty high, it seems to be closed & it goes back & forth between soft & semi-firm. I've taken a pregnancy test & it's negative. Is it really possible that I don't have enough HCG yet to detect? Or could there be another explanation for all of this?

I'm trying to figure out which test to get. Any personal experiences & opinions that anyone can share to help me out?

I'm buying a test tomorrow & don't know which I should get. I've heard both are a few of the best tests to use. What's your opinion?

I'm really tired & I've tried numerous times to get to sleep. Each time, I lay in bed for about an hour, but I just can't get myself to fall asleep! What's wrong with me?!

I posted this question earlier, but didn't really get any answers. So...here it is again!

The first day of my last period was April 6th. My cycles are usually 31 days so my period should have come around May 6th, but it's now the 14th & I still haven't started or had any of the usual symptoms that AF is coming.

I checked my cervix tonight & it is high (about 4 inches-the length of my middle finger.) It was very hard to reach. It was also very soft (I describe it as mushy) & it was open enough to fit the very tip of my middle finger.

I also felt some weird abdominal sensations the other night. It was a twitch right below my bellybutton...like when your eye twitches.

I'm not asking if you think I should take a pregnancy test! I will be doing that Saturday with FMU! I just want to get thoughts & opinions.
