Hi I have a Landrover discovery V8i 1996 with engine trouble
Sypmtoms
Random lose of engine power; Engine occasionally stalls at junctions
Random lose of acceleration: occasionally when you put your foot down you only get around half the normal acceleration
Odd whining nose; engine whine’s when running
I have already changed the spark plugs and HT leads. Is it possible it may be the Cylinder head of gasket? And if so is it fixable

Does any one in the UK know how to put a range rover p38 2.5 d into four wheel drive i can see high and low box but no 4x4 or is it automatic if there is a loss of traction. I don’t want a guess i need a real answer before winter so please only answer if you know thanks
