  • Help needed?

Hi I have an interview for mental health nursing in 2 days:eek: do you have any tips (such as not panicking) do you think I should practice what I will be saying such as answers to likely questions that will come up or shall I just go with the flow? I am also worried about what to say in a group interview as I may not know answers to some questions, so shall I just Say something rather than being quiet?

  • Help needed and your advice?

Hi, I am currenlty in year 13 and have finished 6th form. I am currently holding no offers, however I would like to study nursing. The problem is that in the past I didn't want to do nursing so I have applied to different courses, but now I realise that nursing is something that I would really like to go into and I can apply thorugh UCAS extra (which the dealine is in 2 days) however there is only entalhealth nursing going trough and my predicted grades are low. However today i had visisted my 6th form and I have been told from my teacher that I have achieved *DD for by btec. If i do apply for mental health nursing and get an offer and I accept it, would I be able to decline it and go into clearing as I would prefer studying adult nursing more and what about if it comes into clearing would i be abe to apply?

Do you know if i started mental health nursing, do universities allow you to transfer to other fields such as adult if I didn't enjoy it?

  • Help opinions needed?

Hi, I am really interested in studying nursing, i have applied to a science degree before, but was unsuccessful and I decided I didn't want to study a Science degree. I have applied previously to nursing before however my predicted grades did not meet the university entry requirements and the universities that have low entry requirements did not show up in extra. So I did research and applied to a foundation year which would allow me to progress onto nursing through extra which my application has been unsuccessful. I am wanting to study in north England Yorkshire. Do you think nursing would come up in clearing? and do you know anyone who has gone onto nursing through clearing. I didn't really think this would happen, I mean it is stressing as I really want to start University this year and not take a year out.

  • Your opinion and experience?

Hi, is studying medicine really difficult as people say it is (obviously everyone is different) and if you are studying it,could you please tell me whether it is interesting and r u find it okay? Is it that there is so much to learn or is the context extremely hard to learn and understand or both? Thank you.

  • Help need your advice, what would you do?

Hi, I have received my AS result and my btec and found out I have got an E in Health and social care AS and passed my btec shall I resit my AS health and social care and get into Nursing or shall I do a science degree and get onto medicine degree as the clinical science degree only wants 2 AS levels or equivalent which my btec is worth and I will have completed by next year. I really need help. with nursing I have so many benefits such as: tuition fees paid, many careers in nursing etc. and become a nurse consultant which has many similar roles to a doctor such as prescribing, examining or should I go into a foundation year which will allow me to progress to medicine, which 100 people apply and 20 get through to medicine, shall I take he risk? I don't know if I should as I might regret doing that science degree as I might not get a place in Medicine or I might find it too difficult If I did the only reason why I might chose to do this is that I always wanted to become a doctor since a child and have stupidly did not take science GCSE and A level chemistry and biology and that it is very competitive so this would be my only way to get in. I know that I really hate myself and regret not taking the right qualifications but this could be my only chance.

    Any advice Thanks.

  • Should I go to the doctors?

Ok I have been experiencing this for many years. Basically every morning I brush my teeth when I spit this thick clear mucus come out and even when I go to toilet, buts that is not th only problem as my bones or muscles always join and is extremely painful i don't think it is athiritus but anyway I don't think it is normal and I am 17. I am really scared and embarrassed and I hate goin to the doctors. It is really affecting me as I am small for my age and I feel like sometimes I have breathing problems.
