I just finished my "on schedule" period last week, which was very light and mostly brown. After putting the new ring in on Wednesday of last week (2/2/2011), everything was normal until tonight. I got a second period that is heavy, bright red, and causing menstrual cramps. Why am I getting this heavier period off schedule? Will it cause my birth control to be less effective? I'm pretty freaked out because I've been on Nuvaring since June of 2009, and this has never happened before.

I have a Blackberry Tour 9630 using Verizon. My boyfriend uses US Cellular, and up until yesterday morning (7/28/2010), we have had no problems being able to text each other. I have been able to receive his texts, and my phone says my texts have sent, but he hasn't gotten any since the night of July 27th. We've been using mobile email instead, but we'd like to get this problem fixed.

I don't know if it's a problem with my phone or his phone, but it's maddening!
