Do all the people who paid to go to the Teabagger Convention get a?
jar of vasoline for the $549 they paid. Aren't they getting screwed by Palin & Co.
2 AnswersGovernment1 decade agoIsn't most mold inspection and remediation a scam.?
Home inspectors always seem to find some evidence of mold and refer buyers to another company. They charge buyers even more money and always find mold. They then extort more money from the sellers for some phony remediation. Buyers and sellers get screwed, home inspectors make money from kickbacks and mold companies laugh their way to the bank. The truth is mold is everywhere! True "toxic mold" is very, very rare.
4 AnswersRenting & Real Estate1 decade agoWhy is it so hard for votes to be counted in Alaska?
They still haven't finished counting votes for the Mark Begich vs. Ted Stevens Senator race. It's 13 days after the election! Are they using fingers and toes for counting?
9 AnswersElections1 decade agoWas the "Mr. Puddles" video on The Daily Show the funniest thing since Tina Fey Palin? ?
Tina Fey as Palin was funny but I think the Mr. Puddles segement from the 10/8/08 Daily Show makes me laugh every time I think about it. Which do you think is funnier?
The "Mr Puddles" part starts about 7:27 into the video.
5 AnswersElections1 decade agoHow do you convert cubic yards crushed stone to tons?
I have two dealers in my area that sell 3/4" crushed stone (granite). One dealer charges by the ton, the other by the cubic yard. I know I need about 6 cubic yards but I don't know what that would be in tons.
Garden & Landscape1 decade agoWas that an audition for spokesmodel?
Sarah Palin did not answer the actual questions during the debate but rather gave a canned Republican talking points in an over rehearsed folksy way. Did she think this was an audition for spokesmodel rather than for VP? She reminded me of the spokesmodels hawking trucks at the auto show, doesn't know a thing except the canned script.
3 AnswersElections1 decade agoHave you forgotten 9/11?
9-11 happened under the Republican watch. Bush was president and the Republicans controlled the house. Do you really buy the fear mongering?
35 AnswersElections1 decade agoDo you think that straight talk is important for a presidential candidate?
Would you vote for a candidate that either lies or just doesn't remember what he says? Watch this video and ask yourself is McCain really a straight talker or is he on the BS express?
1 AnswerElections1 decade agoWages lowest share of GDP on record, Corporate profits highest since 1960s do you want more of this?
The rich get richer and the middle class is disappearing. Do you really want more of the same? If yes then you might just want to put another Republican in office. Check out the chart you will see that real wages increased during the Clinton years but dropped like a rock after Bush took office. Do you think the Republicans care about you?
If you want real change vote Obama/Biden 08!
18 AnswersElections1 decade agoDoesn't Palin show lack of judgement?
It is well known that conceiving a child at the age she did had serious risks.
The risk of having a baby with chromosomal disorders increase as a woman grows older. The most common of these disorders is Down syndrome, a combination of mental retardation and physical abnormalities caused by the presence of an extra chromosome. At age 25, a woman has about a 1-in-1, 250 chance of having a baby with Down syndrome; at age 30, a 1-in-1,000 chance; at age 35, a 1-in-400 chance; at age 40, a 1-in-100 chance; and at 45, a 1-in-30 chance.
13 AnswersElections1 decade agoDid Sarah Palin do well in college or did she graduate near the bottom of her class like McCain?
Fox News indicates that she changed schools 6 times in 6 years, seems strange why?

McCain graduated near the bottom of his class (894 of 899), how did she do?

12 AnswersElections1 decade agoIs Sarah Palin really patriotic? She wants Alaska to secede from the US? ?
What does it say about Sarah Palin? McCain's VP was once a member of the controversial Alaskan Independence Party (AIP), a group that seeks, among other things, a vote on whether Alaska should secede from the Union. Is that patriotic? I think NOT!
16 AnswersElections1 decade agoIsn't the term "working class" offensive?
During the news coverage of the election the term "working class" is used often. Isn't this term offensive to professionals who work 80+ hour weeks? Just because you are not doing manual labor doesn't mean you don't work long hard hours.
11 AnswersElections1 decade agoWhere was Hillary when OBAMA voted YEA?
Question: On the Amendment (Dodd Amdt. No. 3907 )
Vote Number: 15 Vote Date: February 12, 2008, 11:03 AM
"To strike the provisions providing immunity from civil liability to electronic communication service providers for certain assistance provided to the Government."
Why didn't Hillary vote? Is she in the pocket of the telcom industry? Does she support illegal wire taps just like Bush and the Repukicans?
2 AnswersElections1 decade agoShould telcoms get immunity for illegal domestic spying on Americans?
Telcoms who participated in Bush's illegal warrantless domestic spying program would receive retroactive immunity from lawsuits under a bill passed by the US Senate. We are a nation of laws. Should telcoms who violated the law be given immunity? Isn't this just a perversion of our system of government?
5 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoDo think Yahoo Answers should add a "Dumb Question" vote?
You can vote for a best answer or "No Best Answer" but some questions are just so stupid that the best answer is that the question is irrelevant. This seems most appropriate in the politics category where some really ignorant questions about canidates are asked that have nothing to do with qualifications.
