I played/studied the piano for about 12 years, but have not had the opportunity to keep it up for the last 8 years. I work as a computer programmer.
Is this piano recommended?
Make: Mendel/Mandel? Polish origin (Googled it and can't find any pianos of that make.)
baby grand 1.3m x 1.3m
overstrung (2 levels of strings)
metal frame
not greatest condition - keys stuck
on auction for approx $450
they claim it can be fixed easily and is really worth a few thousand dollars, but there is no demand for large pianos

Is there a piece of music that you associate with a book, a time of your life etc that will always remind you of it? For example I will always associate Rachmaninoff's 2nd Piano Concerto with the book "1984" by George Orwell, because that is when I first hear the concerto.
