Baby biting out of aggression...?
Our baby girl is almost 10 months and she's always trying to get into anything she can. Naturally, she doesn't at all like being moved away from something she can't have, or having something taken from her.
Just recently we've had 2 incidents where she kept trying to get to something and when putting out our hand to prevent her, she starts fussing like usual, and then while getting upset, leaned her head over with mouth open and bit. It wasn't hard and didn't really hurt. It was just kinda surprising because in both cases it was clearly an intentional response against stopping her.
Is it normal for children under one year of age to show deliberate aggressive behavior during a tantrum?
I tried searching for other examples or information, but all of the topics I've found are in relation to typical problems with older toddlers getting aggressive, or babies under a year old biting when playing. We haven't had any issue at all with her biting during play time.
