  • How does one get rid of the "Pc e-crime Unit" trojan virus?

My friend has acquired this virus and it is locking the system up so that nothing can be activated, previously a person could start up in safe mode and pick an earlier restore point, which got rid of the thing but apparently it has been modified so that the system locks up and no changes can be made with this new virus

I was on Avaxhome and trying to download a record and the thing piggybacked its self onto his machine and then demanded 100 GBP for release but it is a scam and so far I have not been able to move passed it

Has anyone got any ideas of what steps to take that will get rid of the thing or tell me what files has been placed in my registry so I can delete the necessary ones and get the thing up and running again by putting it on a second PC as a second drive and removing them manually

  • Why is Yahoo Answers configured to individual pages?

What I find is that in one session of browsing I can get up to page 40 then stop but the next session (probably the following day) i have to start from page one again, scroll down to the bottom and select the last page indicated. this then increases in multiples of three or four pages and i have to do this several times until I get to the last page of questions that I was viewing the day previously

What is wrong with configuring this software to have a page selection switch, then I can type in the start page that I am looking for

  • What goes up a chimney down but won't go down a chimney up?

This is an old one but it may be so old that the punters from the past who knew the answer may not be here anymore and maybe the younger element may not have come across this particular question

  • How does a fly land on a ceiling?

Does it fly upsidedown then it is the right way up for landing or does it maybe fly the right way up and twist at the last minute to land upside down

Any other thoughts on this subject or does anybody actually know for certain how these things land
