Is there anyone on here that has knowledge on this industry, I'm from the UK and I'm deciding what to study further at college, the petroleum engineering course gives career opportunities in Drilling Engineering, Mud Logging, Control Room Operator, Process Engineering, Production Control, Seismic Surveying and ROV Operations, where I'm from in Scotland the industry is currently having redundancies so I'm wondering how hard are those jobs to come by? How big of a risk am I taking going into this industry, please give me your opinion on whether or not I should pursue this as a career, any information will be heavily appreciated

We have great chemistry like seriously out of this world, we have a similar sense of humor and I make her laugh a lot, but sometimes she goes all cold on me and acts like she doesn't care, or that I'm friend zoned, but the chemistry we have it's more than just friends and she knows it aswell and I think that's why she acts cold, her boyfriend comes out in May but recently they have been having problems on the phone, she put up a status basically saying her heart needs to listen to what her head figured out along time ago defo aimed at her fb, what should I do? I'm getting feelings for this girl and I don't want to get hurt so should I just stop talking to her? she's perfect for me so it's really hard and they look like there on their last legs so I'm like screw this guy? Don't think this is all me though she does like me to an extent, Help me out guys

This might be a long read but if your intrigued by sleep paralysis or have experienced it yourself and have knowledge on the subject you will probably find this story interesting, 3 weeks ago I awoke in my room and I could see everything, it was still quite dark though, I couldn't move or speak and there sitting on my chest was what I can only describe as a hairy demonic like creature, it had it's back to me, so it was sitting on me reverse cowboy basically, it's back was slightly arched, similar to the back of a werewolf, and the hair went all the way up from its back to the top of it's head and beard, the hair was all connected there were no gaps, it had it's hand on my throat grasped by it's left arm, the creature wasn't facing my direction though, however, it slowly tilted it's head in my direction and looked me straight in the eyes, again I can only really describe this thing as hairy, as terrifying as this sounds, I was not afraid, I felt no fear for some reason, now this was the first night I slept after I had done some pretty bad things that weekend, my mum was on holiday, I stole her car and drove around drunk, I swear I should of died that weekend, I did other bad things that I won't get into, I'm not a drinker but when I do I'm crazy as hell and will do anything, what do you think this demon was trying to say? What was it's message? I should of died that weekend, It has to be related, any info on sleep paralysis or what you think this is will be highly appreciated.

I'm 21 from Scotland and thinking about moving to America, I'm not stupid and generalising that all Americans like Scottish people or dislike them but I mean in your personal opinion how are Scottish people perceived? If I was at a party or something would my accent and being from Scotland give me more attention? I would say I'm quite attractive, do you think being Scottish would work in my favour with females? Even men can answer this do you think it would help? I guess it's a matter of personal opinion so let me know what you think

I love animals, I even want to work with them as a career, however, I despise insects and anything like that, especially spiders, I found one in my bathtub the other night, I was going to hoose with my shower, I have quite a good shower with the fact that I can change the tempura true drastically and I don't have to wait on it heating up, the highest setting is next to boiling water and can easily burn you, I just had the urge to set it that high level... So I did and blasted it with super heated water, I know it was crual but I really hate spiders and I enjoyed it, am I a bad person?

Does anyone know the name of a breed of dog that looks similar to a husky or wolf dog but is not as large, looking for a small to medium sized dog, similar size from anything to a jack russel or medium sized Labrador, thanks for any answers

I have just gotten my haircut and I think it's nice, anyway I was being chattier than usual today with this girl in my class, we got to the cafeteria and she came up behind me and said oh you got your haircut, I said yes and she responded with "you look different" ladies tell me what did she mean by that? Good thing or bad thing?

Can anyone recommend really funny movies to watch, just finished watching the film Borat and I've never laughed so much in my life! Any films that you personally found hilarious please let me know :)
