I’m going school for Information Systems, OR information technology. I thought they would be the same thing until I spoke with my advisor about it.

The IST is an AAS degree

I know the difference between the two (apparently the AAS gives you the option to start work immediately after graduation, however they have ties to certain 4-year colleges in area)

While with AS it might be harder transferring certain credits (but could possibly be used nationwide) I’m just a little confused on which may be better for a person who doesn’t know what state they want to be in just yet

I’ve decided to enlist into the navy. But I’m a little taken back when I was told I had to sign over custody to someone because I am not married. I have two kids and would love for them to join me at A school, I just don’t want to give custody up and ive been hearing multiple different things (2 kids). How does it work?

Just curious. My credit score is 640.. was told to speak with a lender but they all want to run my credit and i don’t want it ran until it’s time to start the home buying process .

If a credit agency says they do not have authorization to report your debt to a credit bureau, Would they be able to obtain the authorization or not? If so are they obligated to let you know if you don’t pay it would be reported to the bureaus

I recently called and paid off all things on my credit report so I could buy my house two new accounts hit which total $500 which I have no problem paying I got a call this morning about a 2015 and a 2013 debt [totalling 1700] in which they threatened to report the debt to my credit reports. I never received any calls about those debts until the new ones came in. So after almost 3 and 5 years can they still report these to my bureaus?

What are your stories with them? I have mostly medical bills on my account and stuck between paying them off or paying Lexington law firm to remove them for me

On payday, I'm paying off my collections. I was told that even though I pay it off, it may still be on my report. I contacted the credit agencies to ask about Pay for Delete and they all say "that's up to the bireaud we report to" and some day they don't send out paid in full letters until after 30 days then i have to send the letters they send me to the bureaus and wait some months for it to be removed frm my report. Is there an easier way to do this? Like after I pay in full I can file a dispute or maybe contact the bureau directly? Trying to get everything off of my report especially if it's paid

Looking to buy or build, but a lot of calculators say because I pay 450 a month (car note and insurance) that it drops my possible lit down. Don't think it's possible?

I've always loved being able to make my own clothes make my own designs and I figured why not make some extra money for doing something that I love

* the way I've been doing it is just getting some transfer paper and ironing it on. But I know there are actual machines out here, and they all vary in prices.

* does anyone actually own a machine and sell their custom clothing or make designs for customers? What kind of machine do you have? How much do you make per item? Trying to get everything I need before I get this business off the ground

I do technical support from home I've been doing this for two years after I went on leave for my pregnancy for 5 months and came back that's when everything changed. I have a 8 month old and a 2 year old.

Is there anyone who has the same problem as me and have fixed it or are trying to fix it? What are you trying?

Or is there someone who can give me some tips on how to focus? I just want to excel in my job role the way I did when I first got hired on(yes the money is motivation but that doesn't stop me from losing focus) please no rude answers

my bf and I have been together for 7 years, we have been living together on our own for about 2 years. We started out with roommates paying 200 a month, cool.. Sometimes he came up short sometimes I came up short but 200 wasn't too much since it covered everything.

Fast forward We have had 2 apartments together. Ive always paid a better portion because I make about 2x what he makes. However, he is extremely stubborn with money.

When bills are due I lay out to him what is necessary for his half of payment and he says he has it, then when I ask for it he either doesn't have it or he questions "why he has to pay so much" since I "make so much more than him" which in reality isn't fair, since we have 2 kids and I pay for everything relating to them, or ill pay allt he bills and pocket whwat he gives me since all bills are taken care of

Meanwhile he finds it kind of hard to keep a job, hes so use to working under he table that he is just now learning of 'no call no shows' and what is expected of him in the work place.

He is sweet loyal honest guy i have dealt with, he is great with our kids its just money wise he sucks

Right now the bills total about 1700 a month and that's not including things such as Food, Gas and Things needed around the house.

When he gets money he is selfish with it to the point I wont even know he has it until I see receipts, he always says when be gets a job hell help out more but its always the same thing. He doesn't contribute or if he does its the bare minimum & he doesn't see the issue

I am in the process of buying a house, I'm at the point now where I am paying off my collections... I have spoken with 2 realtors ,

1 who says "pay off your collections, call the credit bureaus to have them knocked off your credit and when you're at a 640/680 then we can reach it to lenders"

The 2nd one said, even if I pay off my collections I need to get credit cards to build my credit then I can speak to a lender when my credit is at least a 580 (he ran my credit and did not see that I have a car note)

I paid off 1 collection and my score spiked 69 points on one and 20 points on another and I have been paying my car note early since I got it 6 months ago. , can someone break this down for me?? I'm just excited about buying and I hate to prolong the process after paying off all collections

My son is almost 4. His speech is not really clear. I just got him into head start a few months ago and he's made a HUGE improvement. He knows his name, others names, all shapes colors, he knows his alphabets his numbers. He can tell me what he wants and I understand his father understands. He speaks and talks all day long "mom it's a horse" "Ma look at the dump truck" "it's a fireman at the fire station with a police officer" all this we understand. He even knows his planets. But when it comes to conversations he's not clear.. and when u ask what he says trying to understand he grows frustrated. Like I said, in the beginning of last year and even this year my child was limited in what he could say but how can I help him be more clear? I want him to be able to tell me how his day was or if something happened to him .. I'm a proud mommy but other 3/4 yr olds on his class hold whole clear conversations

I was told a week prior, my due date is may 14th, making the week before may 7th. May 7th is a Saturday and they don't schedule them for the weekends. Would I be able to schedule it for the DAY before the 7th?(may 6th, 38 weeks 6 days) or will they just make me wait?

Hi guys! I have a neighbor issue. My next door neighbors are Caucasian and I am African American. Ever since I weve moved in we've had issues with or neighbors accusing myself my kids and my company of causing damage to or property. We stay in a neighborhood where it's a lot of school aged children who are outside way most sundown.

Anyways it gets frustrating my neighbor tries to control my company she reported to my landlord that I have so much company here she believes people live here (when they don't) I am 8 1/2 months pregnant and stay in a complete other state than my family. My family comes up at least 3 times a month stays with me and leaves . I am a younger person so I do understand the noise complaint Ina way. I come out to speak and they ignore me and when I leave the office to drop off rent they smirk at me as if o just chewed out

I have to neighbor with these people for the next 7 months and need it to be as peaceful as possible so I was thinking of paying them a visit, explaining my situation and to accept communication as I am their neighbor. Am I doing the right thing? What should I say?
