According to The federation Against Copyright Theft (FACT) it is not an offence to buy pirated DVDs for personal use. So why is it illegal to download them?

While it is not an offence to buy pirated DVDs, the production, distribution and sale of pirated DVDs is a criminal offence and those found guilty can be punished by a maximum 10 years imprisonment and/or an unlimited fine in the Crown Court, and a maximum of £5,000 and/or six months imprisonment in the magistrates court.

I got my laptop about 7 months ago now... and within the past week im seeing more and more dead pixels appearing... it has about 13 now! and last week it only had 1.. does anyone know why this is? will sony repair it? its still under warranty

Hey, on my router i have all my ports i need forwarded to my laptops ip, 192.168.0.2 and it worked fine, so if im using bittorrent the tick is green and if i do the utorrent port checker it says my ports are properly forwarded. but once i installed windows 7, i changed my lan ip again to 192.168.0.2 and installed bittorent, im using a port which i know is forwarded but the tesst says its not forwarded properly so im getting crap speeds. Ive added all acceptions and allowed bittorent in the firewall anyone any ideas?
