  • Was I right for leaving the relationship after a YEAR?

    I met a man... we dated for almost 7months in a serious exclusive relationship when he calls me at work and tells me he is being deployed to Iraq... Of course I was devastated because I really did care about him, I decided to stand by him EVEN though he knew FROM the BEGINNING he was leaving to Iraq he just CHOSE NOT TO TELL ME until a WEEK before he was leaving, yeah I thought that was wrong but we decided to stay together.

    He left for Iraq in June of 09 I have stood by his side supported him and I have done ALL I can to be a good woman and friend to him while he is away including sending Care Packages monthly...

    That IS until recently when he stopped calling me returning any of my calls, writing me back when I email him or anything else... I thought it was really rude and inconsiderate of HIM to ignore the way that he chose to, I finally spoke to him and he admitted he DIDN'T call simply because HE CHOSE NOT TOO CALL... it was nothing wrong with him or anything he JUST DIDN'T CALL...

    so I simply wrote him a email and told him we should go our separatete ways.....

    So under these circumstances was I right for simply cutting my lost
