I'm working on a science fair project for school. My partner and I decided to see whether or not we could kill E. Coli with garlic. The problem is, we don't really have any E. Coli. I know its found in some foods. Our biology teacher told us to leave out raw chicken for two days and E. Coli would simply form on it. * Is this a good source of E. Coli? Is there any other way we can obtain E. Coli much faster? How would we get the E. Coli into test tubes?* The website also said to use blood agar. But, our biology teacher told us to use sugar agar instead. *Will this affect the final result, greatly?* Here's the link. Any help is appreciated.
