Why is the world such a nicer place to be in while eating cereal?
Why is everything so much better when I'm eating cereal? Do you feel the same way?
In fact, I'm eating cereal now...
mmm, cereal...
6 AnswersGovernment1 decade agoFrench song help (Possibly Jacques Brel)?
I'm trying to remember the name of a French song I heard a month ago, but just can't seem to recall the lyrics.
It's a song about two artists/lovers who live together in a studio, are cold in winter (hiver), but love one another... and that's about all I can remember. The word cigarette comes up, too. It might be sang by Jacques Brel.
If it helps, this song reminds me of the other one.

It just seems that a lot of the rhetoric about communism taking over the country sounds a little bit too familiar.
Thank goodness everyone values the lessons history has to teach us...

Why hasn't Nintendo released a Pokemon RPG based on their bestselling Gameboy franchise?
This question popped into my mind for the first time in years when, while lifeguarding, I saw two kids pretending to have Pokemon battles in the pool. It made me happy that Pokemon was as much a part of their lives as it was mine at their age, but it also made me curious as to why Nintendo has never bothered to release such a game.
There have been games like Pokemon Stadium and Pokemon Snap, among other releases not worth mentioning, but there has been no game that is essentially a larger version of the role-playing adventure that is Pokemon Red, or Blue, or Diamond, or Silver, etc...
What I'm getting at is that, as one of the millions of children across the world who grew up with Pokemon being such a huge part of my childhood, I would purchase a first person version of the Gameboy games I loved so much growing up, and so would all those other kids, not to mention the market in Japan, where Pokemon is a way of life for some people. To this day, I enjoy playing the old Gameboy Pokemon games (and I'm well past the target audience of the products).
Nintendo would have to put in minimal effort into a game like this. There is no worrying about writing a story, dialogue, creating characters or techniques... everything they need is already there (in the form of the Gameboy games) just waiting to be put into first person format. And later on, Nintendo could re-release the classic Pokemon Red, Blue, and Green titles, as they already have with the Nintendo DS system (I'd buy 'em).
It seems like Nintendo has been sitting on a money pot, as they could have created a game like this back when the Gamecube was their flagship console... I'm just wondering why they haven't, and I ache for the day when I can turn on my wii and enter the magical world of Pokemon.
