My computer says that my network connection is set to connect to the internet manually. How can I get it to connect automatically?? I don't know how to connect it manually. I have a Toshiba Satellite Laptop and I'm on Windows 8. Please answer in simple terms. I am not at all computer savvy. Thanks.

I lost my Network Security Key. Will installing a new driver restore it or give me another one? I am trying to download a Driver Update, but it says it's incompatible with my system. I have Yahoo Messenger and it's also installed in Yahoo Mail. Whenever I get a message in Yahoo Messenger, it shuts off of Messenger and instead opens up in my Yahoo Mail... It's annoying and frustrating, so I went to try and disable it in my Yahoo Mail but there is no button to disable it. How can I disable it IN MY YAHOO MAIL ONLY without disabling it/uninstalling Messenger completely?? I'm very frustrated!

Why do I keep getting this message "Server Error: This Webpage Is Not Available" over and over and over again? I keep having to reload each page I go on several times. How can I get this to stop? I keep getting this message in my Yahoo Mail: "Temporary Error: An unexpected problem has occurred. Performing your action again in a few moments will probably solve the problem. If it persists, we suggest you close this window and re-launch yahoo mail." I have tried re-launching several times and have also tried shutting down and re-opening my computer as well, but keep getting the same message. How can I fix this?

I do not like to use Explorer, but every time I click on a link posted in my Yahoo Messenger, the page will open with the Explorer Browser instead of my Google Chrome Browser. I have gone to Uninstall Windows Explorer, but it is NOT listed in the Uninstall Programs! I have a Statellite C870 series laptop with Windows 8. I've changed my account pic but it still pops up as my old Avatar pic (which are all gone now). Why won't it change to the picture I've chosen? I went to my members page and went to "Edit My Preferences" and changed the Avatar to a picture. The picture shows up in place of the Avatar in the Profile, but when I go to ask a question, It still shows the old Avatar Icon on the Answers Page. How can I change it?

I recently got a new computer and I've been getting a pop up message that asks me to connect to the Internet using Dial-Up or Broadband. I am hooked up using Wireless and I don't want to hook up using Dial-Up/Broadband. Every time I turn on my computer a message box pops up saying "Dial Up Connection: Select the service you want to connect to". Then it says "Connect To: Broadband Connection" and a blank box that says Connect Automatically. Then 3 boxes beneath that that say "Connect", "Settings..." and "Cancel". I am hooked up using Wireless, and I don't want broadband but this message keeps popping up. Also, there are times when I am trying to download something but I will get a message saying that I am "Not Connected To The Internet" when I clearly AM on the internet! I don't know what's going on. Can someone please help me with this (USING VERY SIMPLE language)? I am not computer savvy at all and this problem has been bugging me for awhile now.

I want to delete some Persona's that I no longer want in some of my collections. But I can't find where to delete *just the one Persona I don't want*. All I see is where to delete the entire collection, and I don't want that!

My computer keeps shutting down on me. I don't know what's wrong. It's a Toshiba laptop and I have Windows 7 Home Premium. Could it be High CPU? Norton has told me that my CPU is high but I don't know how to lower it (if I can). I was also told that Norton isn't really a good virus cleaner so I've deleted it and got Avast instead, but my computer's been shutting off very frequently and I don't know what the problem is. Is it overheated? (My laptop seems to become very hot). I've tried to unistall recent programs thinking/hoping they might be the problem. Before I deleted it, Norton kept telling me that I had no viruses. I don't know what the problem is. Can someone please help me in simple terms? I am not at all computer savvy.

I recently noticed that my Firewall is not working. It said to update my Firewall because it is not using recommended settings, but when I click on Use Recommended Settings, it tells me" Windows Firewall can't change some of your settings. Error Message Code 0x8007042c". I then tried to find a website to help. I went to Microsoft Community and Microsoft Support. They led me to a place that said it could" Diagnose and fix Windows Firewall service problems automatically by using Microsoft Fix It". But when I click on the program to download it, I get *another* error message stating: "Troubleshooting Cannot continue because an error has occurred. We're sorry but the program can't continue. Please try again later." I've waited 2 days to "try again", but still get the same message. I don't know what to do now. Should I download a Firewall all over again? If so, where can I go to download it? Could someone please explain to me very simply? I am not computer savvy at all, but would appreciate any help.
