I had viral meningitis in Oct 2011 and wasn't expected to make it. (it was a miracle I survived it) I had a few weeks of eye weakness and pain after the illness but i never went to an eye doctor. Lately, I've been having headaches and pain when focusing. As in, when focusing out the blur of an object, I feel pain. My eye muscles feel weak and tired. I am sleeping enough but find myself resting my eyes throughout the day. I can't look too far left without my eyes hurting and sometimes my vision shakes.

They even barred the windows. What's the point?

I'm assuming he has a stomach bug. Last night, he had a very loose stool. Today, he had two more but that was it. All day, he couldn't keep down any formula or food. (i tried pureed carrots with rice cereal. No dice.)

Over the last couple of hours, his tolerance for Pedialyte has been getting better. One oz every hour. Now, he drinks water ok...but when can I give him milk again? Or food? I feel so lost...

btw, no fever.

More recently I've been having trouble speaking. My mouth just doesn't seem to work sometimes. My words get slurred or mixed up, like dyslexia. I can't find words as I'm talking and I forget things all the time now, including names of people I see very often or even birthdays (my kids', hubby's, my OWN, family's, etc) I'm extra clumsy and feel braindead sometimes, like not wanting to do anything or think too hard on anything. What can this possibly be? I'll probably go to the doc eventually, so please don't just say, "go to the doctor." I'm trying to get a vague idea of what can possibly cause any of this.

I'm not on any meds. I've never had alcohol. I've never smoked anything. I did have a baby two months ago but this seems to have been going on before I had him.

It's on my daughter's knee and it's been there for a couple weeks now. It's stayed the same in that time...no changes, as far as I can tell. I believe it's where she once had a scab.

3 week old gets colicky in the evening. He only has maybe two or three bottles of breastmilk but otherwise it's formula. I've been feeding him Enfamil Premium Newborn. Recently, he's just gotten so much worse, crying/screaming until he turns purple and there's nothing I can do to calm him down! He cries about everything, it seems. A little discomfort and he flips a lid! Diaper changes, clothes changes, burping, etc...

My 1st daughter was colicky but not this bad...can it be my milk, as little as it is or maybe the formula?

I'm 31 weeks preg with baby #3 and am on bedrest. I'm so worried that my little boy will come too soon and he'll be in an incubator and everything. How did you deal with it? How were you able to leave the hospital without that baby? I cant stand the thought of leaving a part of me behind...

I was sitting on the couch and I started feeling some pain in my left, lower abdomen. I thought it was gas at first but then it pushed hard on the whole rectal area to the point when I was convinced baby was coming right then. I mean, it's almost midnight and my other kids are asleep and I couldn't stop myself from crying out in pain. I forced myself onto my feet and paced back and forth and the pain went away. Baby is very active, thank God. I've been having painful contractions for a few weeks now, but not regularly. I told the doc about the contractions at my last appt but she didn't say anything about it.

This is my third baby. A boy, after two girls.

Can this be a sign of preterm labor or could it have really just been really bad gas?

i cant figure it out! im using microsoft office live and my blog is with blogger but i cant figure out how to embed the blog on my website's home page.

i'm trying to sell my dog and almost got scammed. i only realized it after i gave the guy my name, # and address to come pick up the dog. then i saw an email very similar to his on a list of scams. i told him politely that the dog was no longer available (made up a story so he didnt realize i caught him as a scammer) but now he's calling me two three times a day. i cant understand a word he's saying and the number he's calling from cannot be called back. what do i have to worry about? i understood something about payment and tomorrow. i said if he sent any payment, that it will be returned or shredded. i apologized. i was very polite. should i be worried? i reported his email to the fraud ppl and they said that if he doesnt have my dob, i'm fine...but...really. what else can he do?
