3 AnswersComics & Animation9 years agoCan't connect to Apps through Facebook?
So, you can login to things using your Facebook account. But I can't do it with some, I just get,
'Sorry, something went wrong'.
I can't sign into Grooveshark, or connect to the Guardian newspaper to look at articles that others are looking at.
Now, I recently found that I can't connect to Formspring either with my account any more and I used to be able to.
So this suggests that it's something to do with my actual Facebook account.
Now, I can connect to the Independent newspaper and Yahoo answers.
I first noticed the problem about 2/3 weeks ago.
Any help?!
2 AnswersFacebook9 years agoFinding Eigenvectors for a 2D dynamical system with 2 zero Eigenvalues?
If given a system that has two zero eigenvalues, which results in the zero matrix for finding the eigenvectors. How do you find the eigenvectors?
e.g.
dx/dt = x^2 * y, dy/dt = x^2 - y^2
The linearised Jacobian matrix will be,
0 0
0 0
which gives zero eigenvalues. So how would you find it in this case?
2 AnswersMathematics9 years agoGrooveshark Radio, How does it work?
Does the radio choose based on what others who like this song listen to or just on type?
If I have several different songs (lets say A, B and C are song types similar to each) then does it find songs and pick them randomly to fit with either of those (like, AABACCABA)?
If I add songs, will it constantly update the radio?
(so adding a dance song to a list that's based on rock, which will it do?:
Will that start changing the music to dance?
Will it find a blend of types (so some dance some rock)?
Will it ignore the new songs added and just base the new songs on what was originally put in?)

2 AnswersLaptops & Notebooks10 years agoIs this HP laptop any good?
http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/hp-pavilio%E2%80%A6
I thought it was pretty good until I saw that it was only 1.6GHz.
Doesn't everything need to be above 2GHz now to be decent?
For example I want to play the game Civilization 4 at some point, will it be able to play this?

4 AnswersInfectious Diseases1 decade agoI want to split a pdf file?
The pdf file:
On each page it has two pages on their side.
(actual pages 1 & 2 are on page 1 of the pdf, 3 & 4 on 2 etc...)
I want to split each page down the middle and print out each half on its own A4 page.
(So 7 pages becomes 14, 8 becomes 16, etc...)
How do I do this? (without taking a screen shot (I don't want to lose information))

1 AnswerMathematics1 decade agoDifferential equations?
dx/ds = x(y-u) ; dy/ds = y(x+u) ; du/ds = (x+y)u
Combining the first two you get
d(y-x)/ds = (y+x)u = du/ds >> y-x = u + const
I need to find the other equation with a constant. BUT I CAN'T. It keeps reducing to the same result I have above. I'm supposed to find two different equations with two different constants.
Any help?!
