Find csc(pi/4)

The way I solved this was knowing that csc= 1/sin, and that the coordinate for pi/4 on the unit circle is v2/2. so, I said 1/(v2/2) which would be 2/v2. However, I know the answer to be just v2. How is this? Can someone explain, showing work? Thank you!

Primero, en cual grado estare? Tengo 15 anos, y voy a tener 16 en el octubre. es el mismo que aqui, como el colegio tiene los grados 9, 10, 11, y 12?

Segundo, como haceis las matematicas en espana? Son mas dificiles que aqui? Aqui en la novena grado tenemos algebra 1 o geometria, el ano que viene tenemos algebra 2, y pre calculus y calculus. Ahora, estoy en la novena grado y estoy en la clase de Algebra 2. En cual clase estare?

Ok, today i switched from dev c++ and allegro to this. Im completely lost with the new environment, i dont get all the types of different files, i have absolutley no idea how to use directx, and i cant get any of their samples to work. somebody please help me with these issues!!!

ok, so today i switched because i heard good things about this one. so as a test i tried running a simple program:

it wont work! it works on dev c++, but not this. whats wrong?
