  • Good business email, G-Mail or Yahoo?

What's the better free email to use for a business? G Mail or Yahoo (or others)? I of course want it to look professional. But also be easily sorted, good contact list setup, tools - things like that. And with yahoo I can only attach 3 pics per email which can be annoying. I'm just not sure if that's standard or if other email providers (is that the right term, lol) are better?

  • Store bought hair color, blonde vs. brown?

As far as I know the blonde hair color that can be purchased at various stores (Target, CVS, the market, etc.) has hydrogen peroxide in it. I know this can dry your hair & make it break easily.

I have been thinking about switching to a light brown or regular brown. Does anyone know if the brown hair colors are any less damaging? Does brown hair dye also have hydrogen peroxide in it? Is brown hair color safer & less harsh on my hair?

It has been about 7 or 8 weeks since I last did an all-over hair temporary color in blonde I think it was Clairol.

Is it safe to switch to brown now & color all my hair with it?

(I know that the hair color at the salons is better for your hair [or so people say] but that is not an option I am considering. I will not pay $100 + for someone to color my hair & then go back & pay that every few weeks.)

  • What's your opinion of e-rewards?

Have you or someone you know been a member of e-rewards? It's an opinion panel. It's not something you sign-up for. Macy's "invited" (lol) me to participate in e-rewards. I love shopping, fashion, etc. so it seems like something I would be interested in & enjoy. (i.e. consumer surveys, participating in consumer opinion panels) And I have opinions for days, trust me ; )

  • How good is the Blackberry email?

I have a blackberry curve. When I got it I already had a yahoo email acct. so I just set-up the yahoo email on my blackberry. It’s nice for verbal communication. But I get a lot of emails with pictures in the body of the email. On my blackberry when I open one of these yahoo emails I see only text. There are links you can click to see the whole email. But there are so many links I get frustrated trying to open the correct one to see the email. Is blackberry email better?

If I sign up for a blackberry email address will I actually see the email in its entirety when I open it?

  • Which is the best free personal wedding website?

I’m looking to sign-up with a wedding website (i.e. theknot.com, etc.). I’ve heard that with most of these sites you can create your own little personal website about your wedding. Which one is the best & why? Which one offers the most help or has the most details? Thanks!

  • How can I rid myself of static electricity?

At the office, I use these metal filing cabinets. I often get shocked when I touch it. The shocks are sometimes very painful & leave my finger sore for a few minutes. You can often hear the snap when I touch it. Is there something I can do to ground myself before touching these cabinets?

I always use fabric softener sheets when drying my clothes, but I do use a plastic hamper to transport the clothes. At work there is a plastic mat that my chair sits on so that I can roll more easily. I have worked here a long time & I cannot figure out what is different now because this didn’t always happen so severely as it has been lately.

Is there some scientific answer to this? Any help will be much appreciated.

  • Have you ever been in a wedding (i.e. in the wedding party)?

I was a bridesmaid at my friend's wedding 7 years ago & I was surprised at how much it cost me. And in Nov. I will be my sister's maid of honor. Have you ever been part of someone's wedding? (bridesmaid, groomsmen, best man, flower girl, usher, ring bearer, etc.) How as the experience for you - good, bad?

  • How do I change my Blackberry Curve's audio text alert?

Does anyone know how or where on my BB Curve, that I can change the sound I hear when I receive a text message? I know how to change the ring tones & how to change the mode (silent, vibrate, etc.) And I checked the manual, but didn't see what I was looking for. Manuals are pretty vague nowadays, they kinda assume you know how to use the technology. But when I'm out & about I hear other people's Blackberry Curve's receive a text & I think it is mine.

  • Do you memorize the names of songs?

I don't. I may know every single word of the lyrics or even be able to tell you what song comes after it on the cd, but I don't know most song names. Weird.

  • License Plate Holders or Bare License Plates?

Mine broke in the front & is now gone. Whoops, pulled a little too close to that wall a few times. In the back, it's a cute scrapbooking theme on the plate holder.

  • In a new relationship how long do you send your "representative"?

Most of the time when you 1st meet someone you are talking to their representative, then at some point they show more of their true colors. Do you get comfortable with people quickly or do you hold back for awhile & take it slowly?

  • Have you ever harvested your own food?

(Is that question grammatically correct? sounds funny, lol -- anyway ...)

I was wondering how many people have harvested their own food at least once in their life? This can mean you have picked your own food from the earth (fruits, veggies, herbs, nuts, etc. ) - or - also if you have ever hunted/caught an animal for food.

I have. I have caught & scaled my own fish ( I coudn't go thru with the whole cleaning though - eeewwww). And I have also picked many different types of fruit & veggies. The garden was at my Grandpa's. I'd guess it was maybe 10' x 25'.

I'm 31. Just curious to see if this is phasing out of people's life in the "modern" world.

  • Do you organize your music cds?

I alphabetize them so that it is easy to just grab the one I want w/o having to look thru them for 5 minutes.

    What do you do?

  • Natural Nails with polish or Pink & White Acrylics?

I am getting my nails done today & am trying to decide whether to keep my natural nails & just have them polished or get pink & white acrylics. I love the look of both. When I try to look at what the trend is, I don't see anyone in the "media" with pink & white acrylics - is this too much of a "fake" look? But I do see a large amount of "everyday" women with the pink & whites when I am out & about. (I live in L.A., just fyi.)
