6 AnswersOther - Politics & Government9 years agoWould anyone have a great restaurant to recommend in Jaco, Costa Rica?
I'll be there in early April and any bar or restaurant recommendations would be appreciated - esp. if you know if they accept credit cards. Thanks!
2 AnswersCosta Rica1 decade agoAnyone else disappointed in the Smallville premiere?
I mean the show hasnt been as good since Lex Luther went off; however this season premiere really stunk. Clark's new superhero persona is a little too batman ripoff, he has zero chemistry with the actress who plays Lois however I'll even play along with that (although I liked her better with Oliver), the Tess/Zod thing, what the? All very disappointing. Maybe its time I gave up on this show.
2 AnswersDrama1 decade agoBuffy fan question: I'm making a BTVS themed graveyard need some tombstone ideas (aside from Buffy's) please!?
I already plan on making one tombstone that says "Buffy Summers, she saved the world. A lot." And one for Anya, any other ideas? I thought about doing one for Angelus or Doyle but not Tara or Joyce Summers (wasnt a fan of theirs). Thanks for any fun suggestions.
1 AnswerOther - Television1 decade agoGetting rid of textured ceilings - expert opinion on removing needed?
OK experts. I have a textured ceiling that I absolutely detest; however, the ceiling also has a crack down the middle. I have one opinion that says the best idea would be to put dry wall up over the top of it vs scraping it all off (big mess) and then patching the crack but then it might still re-crack. Opinions?
6 AnswersDecorating & Remodeling1 decade agoDo I really need primer first?
My bedroom walls are a pale beige and I want to paint them a light lime green ("Lime Mousse"). Is primer really necessary? How come all the HGTV shows never use primer? Thanks for your responses.
2 AnswersDecorating & Remodeling1 decade agoLove the show Dollhouse, anyone else have any theories on who the "inside person is" as per Echo's message?
This past Friday's episode was awesome. Love the twist that the neighbor is a doll and love the message that Echo gave regarding the fact that there is someone on the inside. My theory is that its the Asian girl who works in the lab with Topher. Any other theories or thoughts on the show? God bless Joss Wheedon!
4 AnswersDrama1 decade agoDid anyone else notice Allison aka red haired rocker chic's funky bottom teeth on Idol last night?
I briefly caught it, rewound and froze it - trying to figure out, does she wear braces only on her bottom teeth or does she have funky rotten brown teeth? She's already got a smoker's cough voice!
9 AnswersReality Television1 decade agoDoes anyone know what kind of bath products are provided on Carnival cruises?
I don't mean is soap provided, I mean what brand of products. I am not sure if I should pack my small size higher end shampoo and conditioner in case the stuff they provide is bad. I'll be doing enough damage to my hair in the pools as it is! If it makes a difference I'll be on the Triumph ship. Thanks!
2 AnswersCruise Travel1 decade agoIf you could jump into any role in a classic black & white movie, what would it be?
Some of my favorites: Cathy or Isabella in "Wuthering Heights"; Katherine Hepburn's role in "Bringing up Baby;" Vivien Leigh or Olivia DeHavilland in "Gone with the Wind;" Barbara Stanwyck in "Ball of Fire" with Gary Cooper; any of the leads in "How to Marry a Millionaire".. so many great classy roles back then. Plus great clothes in the 30s and 40s. Thanks for participating!

10 AnswersHair1 decade agoCalling all cruise experts - packing advice?
I'm going on a carribean cruise next month and, of course, want to pack light. Ideally I'd like to keep my luggage to one carry on since I have to fly to Miami and in case they loose my luggage. I don't know if I'll be able to cut myself down that much though, I'm normally an over-packer. Any expert tips?
9 AnswersCruise Travel1 decade agoAre you able to bring/sneak alcohol on board a Carnival cruise?
I know I brought vodka in my luggage a few years ago on a Royal Carribean cruise but can you bring it on a Carnival one? I know the website says no but has anyone done it? Thanks.
8 AnswersCruise Travel1 decade agoIf you only had one night in Miami where would you go?
I'll be in Miami in April for a cruise that leaves on Sunday morning. I arrive around 5 on Saturday. Any suggestions for restaurants and bars that are in the Miami area near where the cruise ships dock? We're looking for a fun but not too expensive atmosphere. Thanks!

2 AnswersOther - Local Businesses1 decade agoAnyone know what station the radio personality Dave Smiley is on now?
He used to do mornings in San Diego then I think he moved to Arizona. I was curious if anyone knows where/what channel he's on now? Or maybe he has a website? I thought he was awesome, cute and really fun to listen to. Thanks for reading.
1 AnswerRadio1 decade agoOld 60s Horror Movie - Cannot remember title?
Does anyone remember an old possibly 1960s movie where this couple goes to stay somewhere remote, possibly a castle, all these spooky occurrences happen and in the end they find out they died - that they themselves are the ghosts? I don't recall any of the actors or the title but I'm hoping one of you will. Thanks for reading.
