I was talking to a friend of mine about it and we were wondering whether you need an ultralight or light aircraft license for it.Also do you need any other license because it has a jet engine?From what I know you don't need any special license to fly with jet engines but maybe I am mistaken

I do not own any planes real or RC although I do want one,real or RC.

I have been making questions and giving answers in this category for quite some time and I have noticed how people here,at least those who are pilots which consist of most of the answerers in this category,treat RC planes in a ''hostile'' way.I am not sure if my choice of words gets my point through I am sorry if it doesn't english is not my native language.

I can see why they behave like that since RC planes are considered toys.I agree to that too they are very different from normal aircraft in the way they are operated.

However there is something I see a lot which bothers me.

People here refer to them as not ''real'' aircraft

Quoting some of these people:''So try asking in the toy category. This one is for real airplanes.''

''RC planes aren't real aircraft, that's why they made a toys & hobbies section''

Last time I checked RC planes were not illusions so I believe they are pretty real.Also I believe that the term aircraft defines them perfectly.

This is the definition of the word from a dictionary and I believe it suits RC aircraft pretty well.

So yeah maybe they are not like the planes you people fly but they are still planes,they are still aircraft.You don't have to be hostile towards people who ask about them here,they might be operated differently than normal aircraft but they follow the same principles.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that referring to RC aircraft as not real planes and being hostile to the people who ask about them here is wrong.

What is your opinion on this?

I bought Battlefield 3 a few days ago and I'm on lvl 2.I play Hardcore as an engineer but I originally wanted to play as a sniper.However,even on Hardcore I'd get hitmarkers with torso shots.I mean I know it is a game but if you get shot on the torso by a sniper rifle you're done for.Since every shot is very difficult having to deal with several factors I think that if every man needs 2 shots to go down then the sniper class is useless.I mean it's hard enough to hit someone once it is impossible to hit him twice.Is it because my weapons are weak?Do riffles obtained on later lvls have more power and are able to kill someone in one shot?

I was searching for ping pong tables for sale on the web and I came across a website which had 5-6 different kinds of tables,all made from the same company.I found it weird how one cost 250 euros while another one cost 700.

I put them in comparison to see what makes the other one so expensive.I found 3 differences.

The expensive one had waterproof cases for the paddles and balls,it had an aluminum strip on its sides and its surface coating was 22mm thick

The cheaper one did not have paddle cases or an aluminum strip and its coating was only 16mm thick

I am no ping pong expert but I believe that the thickness of the coating is the only difference since the others were not that important.

I know that the coating is what makes a ping pong table not just a normal table but I don't think that 6mm difference in coating thickness can rise the price so much.

Then again I am not a ping pong expert so I don't think I am really capable to judge a ping pong table

So I leave it to you.

Also the cheaper one come with paddles and balls so I believe it is the best choice for me since I only want it to play with my friends.

It was pretty good so I am looking for something similar.

I have watched all the episodes,OVAs,movies of Ranma 1/2.I was wondering which of the chapters from the manga have not been animated at all so that I can read them

I recently started watching Ranma 1/2 which is awesome.

I am currently at episode 156.

If I remember correctly there are 161 episodes which means I am close to the end.

I was wondering if I should've watched any OVAs or movies already or are they irrelevant to the series time line and I can just watch them after wards?

I recently installed Star Wars Battlefront.I hadn't played for a long time.Last time I had played was on my old pc.Everything worked fine every time I had installed it before but now ground vehicles have stability problems.When I press A or D instead of strafing they flip over,same thing happens when I try to turn using the mouse.When AI uses them they also start flipping uncontrollably.I never had this problem before and I am wondering if it is a known problem and there is a solution to it or if anyone knows what I can do

I have a Daft_Punk skin,Thomas Bangalter to be precise.It is very good I found it on planet minecraft.

So I wanted to change it,put a suit on it.I did not delete anything,I just painted over some pixels.Everything went fine besides the fact that the skin's glasses are not appearing now.I don't know why.

There are many planes that have the ability to fly inverted.However I was wondering how is that possible.Shouldn't the lift created by the wings push the plane down?Is it mostly based on engine strenght or does the plane have a different airfoil?

From what I've seen it is quite simplistic in order to keep the price low but it is a nice economic aircraft

I will be getting my PPL next year and I want to make the best out of it by gaining the necessary hours for my CPL (which are 280 I think?Correct me if I'm wrong cause I think I am)

Training is 8000-13000 depending on the aircraft you train in

Training in a C152 is 8000 and buying a C150 with 2-3thousand hours will cost me about 9-15 thousand

I've seen many planes for sale and most of them are around 10k euros so PPL + a C150 will cost me about 18-20 thousand euros which in my opinion is a pretty good deal.However the economy is tight and I must make those money worth it.By getting my CPL when I turn 18 will give me the opportunity to work doing the only thing I'll know and thus be able to pay for my plane and maybe for my general expenses if I don't get a car I suppose.

Most of you are thinking of suggesting me to join an air club but I learned that flying with the air club's plane comes to about 130 euros per hour and that is if you are a member.I don't think I can afford such thing,Getting 280 hours in 2 years with one hour being 130 comes to 36.400 euros with which I can buy 2 or even 3 C150s.Now I know that it's not just to buy it,there is also fuel,insurance and maintenance.But overall I think that owning a C150 is much different than owning a car (in the economical point of view)

So what do you think?Should I try to get the hours with an air club or buy my own plane?

(I know it is not just insurance,fuel and maintenance but these are the basic expenses)
