  • Too much to ask?

Long story short, we've been dating for over a year and haven't kissed. Once.

But... It's not all his fault. I've never actually kissed a guy. My only "experience" with boys is being harassed, pinned to a wall, and the football players at my HS thinking touching boobs and butts is flirting.

I'm very touchy. And he's not. I want him to wrap his arm around me, and he rarely does. Basically we're a words only, not much physical contact, relationship. And I can't take it much longer. I love the guy, but I need us to change. He's attempted to kiss me a couple of times, but I have flash backs to my being pinned to the wall incident and begin to freak out and freeze.

What I'm asking is, how do I tell him I need some sign of affection?

A little extra information: We live 45 minutes away and both of us are taking multiple AP courses so we get to see each other only 2, 3 if we're lucky, times a week. And we're a church camp relationship. We go to the same church, which is where we see each other a lot, so no sex, or anything immoral. We're the "role model" for younger kids relationships in you youth group.

    Thanks in advance!

  • Why doesn't my boyfriend seem to like to touch me?

We've been dating for almost exactly a year and our physical contact has pretty much been limited to hand holding. We're upperclassmen in high school so it's not like we're 12 year olds going pretending to "be in love".

We started dating in September of last year and all the way until about Christmas our 'romance' slowly increased. He'd wrap his arm around me in road trips or when I fell asleep on his shoulder after a late night and occasionally would kiss me on the cheek. But since about May, we've actually gone in reverse. He hasn't even attempted to kiss me, or hold me, or do almost anything. I don't want a sexual relationship at all until marriage, but would giving me a kiss or telling me I look nice really kill him?

I really, really like the guy. I just want to move our relationship out of this "more like friends" stage that seems to be going on.

How can I convey to him that it's ok to touch me? We are both devout Christians, so I know he has a hard time with where the line of morality exists.

I'm taking him stargazing for our one year as a surprise type thing if that helps and his birthday is next month.

    Thanks in advance!

  • Spending 9 days with boyfriend. What are some things we can do?

    NO SEX.

Just putting that out there. He is staying with my family for 9 days while his parents are gone. He and I are working for my dad on our farm this summer, and will be doing that whenever it's not raining. BUT, it's been raining. A lot.

I had several things planned, but because of the rain, there's been lots of flooding, causing me to be unable to carry these plans out.

    Some ideas I have are:

Ice cream and looking at the stars

Taking the LONG way to my favorite hole-in-the-wall

    Mudding on four wheelers

    Swimming in my pool

Movie at the local ancient theater

What would you want to do?

I was going to take him floating down the local river, but it's 3 inches too low from flooding the whole town and we would die if we put our toes in. I live in a very small town of that helps in any way!

  • Surface 3 Pro VS MacBook Air?

I'm purchasing a computer soon and I'm stuck between the MacBook Air and the Surface 3 Pro. I love the windows 8 features like Word and Excel, but I also like the power point applications on Apple. I could easily download the new

    Word on an apple though.

What I'm trying to decide is if the touch screen is worth t. That's really my only deciding factor.

I'll be using it for college level highschool classes and I need to be able to type papers and use the Internet for online homework.

    Thanks in advance!

  • How to ask him not to get me anything? I don't want a gift!?

I'm inviting my city boy boyfriend to my house for a picnic for a small 6 months anniversary thing. I live in the country, so I was going to take him to a pasture full of baby cows and watch the stars after a picnic for two for dinner.

How do I tell him not to bring anything? He's a gifter, and I don't want ANYTHING!! But he's thick skulled and way too kind, so he ignores that. He won't ever let me help pay for meals even! I wasn't planning on getting him anything, but if he does get me something what should I do? Will the picnic count? We've never kissed, so could I do something along that line if you get my drift? What about a love letter to him?

    Thanks in advance!

  • Girl asking boy on date? How to do that?

I'm inviting my city boy boyfriend to my house for a picnic for a small 6 months anniversary thing. I live in the country, so I was going to take him to a pasture full of baby cows and watch the stars after a picnic for two for dinner.

    How should I invite him?

We've never really done anything 'romantic'. As in just him and I. There are always friends or parents with us, and I really just want this to be US. I was planning on asking him causally through text. How would you word it? Maybe keeping the picnic a surprise. We act more like best friends, an I want to move more towards a girlfriend/boyfriend relationship. We've never kissed on the lips, so any advice for getting that accomplished is appreciated!!

    Thanks in advance!

  • ASAP! Please help! Boyfriend advice!?

I'm inviting my city boy boyfriend to my house for a picnic for a small 6 months anniversary thing. I live in the country, so I was going to take him for barbecue/burgers for lunch and then go for the picnic in a pasture full of baby cows and watch the stars for dinner.

    What should I pack?

I'm a decent cook so that's not an issue. I was planning on bringing homemade coke floats because it's a shared favorite, maybe chocolate strawberries? What should I bring as a 'main course'? Or should it just be snacky finger foods?

  • Intermediate level pianist looking to pursue classical music?

I took piano lessons from the age 7 to almost 13 years old. 3 years ago I quit because I had burned out. I was one of the quickest learners of my piano teacher's students, so she pushed me very hard, to the point were I learned to hate piano. I was sent to competitions and recitals without being properly prepared. During one particular lesson, it seemed as if I could do nothing right in my piano teacher's eyes, so I picked up my books without a word, walked out of her studio, and waited half an hour for my mom to pick me up because I was only 12. I haven't been back since.

For two years, the only time I even looked at my piano was during Christmas. This year though, it has been particularly stressful, so one day I decided to crack open my old books when my family wasn't home. I rediscovered something that I truly loved to do, maybe even more than when I was taking lessons.

I've printed off a copy of Canon in D (a personal favorite of mine), and have began to work through it. I've been able to memorize roughly half of it with just some difficulty with the few octave reaches because of my small hands. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good music book, or a website that helps walk someone through learning how to break apart and play classical music? My personal goal is to have Fur Elise memorized, but I've had some serious trouble with the fingering an reaches. I just want to learn classic music without going to lessens. I'm done with those.

    Thanks in advance!

  • Advice on this please!!! (Boy friend related!)?

My boyfriend is the romantic. I, unfortunately, lack in that department desperately! So Valentine's Day is a huge struggle for me, especially since this is the first year that I've had a legit valentine. Would you guys be ok with my gift?

I'm making him some of my grandmas homemade chocolate chip cookies(because they are the bomb!)

And a Starbucks gift card with a cute note something like 'because I know I've kept you up late sometimes!'

Is this ok? Thanks in advance!

  • So Valentine's Day....?

Being the recipient of the "Worlds biggest loser of a girlfriend" award, I'm totally stuck on Valentine's day.... My boyfriend is the romantic, while I don't possess a romantic bone in my body. What do you do on Valentine's Day? This is my first year to have a 'Valentine' so I have no past experiences to learn from. We're both sophomores. He can drive, but I'm still 15.

I live in a rural town 30 minutes away from him. Should I invite him down here for a 'country date'(he is a city boy). I've always wanted to teach him to 2-step, so we could do that after some ice cream. I could even have him drive to my favorite spot on earth(it's just a hill with a really pretty view) and we could look at the stars which he can't see very well from his house.

What should I get him? I "may" have seen a text asking what my favorite dessert, so I guess that's what he's planning in part... I just have NO idea. I've thought about a letter and candy stuffed inside a few balloons with a note that says "Go ahead, burst my bubble!" But I want to get him something to go with the balloons. What should it be? What would you guys think about the balloon idea?

For our six month anniversary(which is next month) I was planning on taking him on a surprise picnic on some of my family's land. I don't want to do the same thing for v-day.

    Thanks in advance!!

  • He's scared of me/himself?

    He's scared to kiss me.

I actually know this is a fact(his mom told my mom, who told me.) he doesn't know that I know this. We've been dating for 4 months, and I've noticed some awkwardness between us(like when he walks me to my car, or after a movie).

We are both Christians. He even gave me a purity ring for Christmas and his parents got him a matching one. He's told his mom that he's scared that he will like kissing TOO much and that he's worried that he can't trust himself. I trust him more than anyone in the world. How do I show this to him? I don't mind waiting until he is comfortable with the idea at all. That's not an issue. I'm totally fine with the stage of the relationship we are at! I want him to realize this.

He is honestly my best friend, and seeing that he's worried about something like that just makes me love him that much more.

How can I ease that bit of awkwardness between us? I know he doesn't mind touching me (as in he pokes me in the ribs, I feel asleep next to him and woke up with his arm around me, etc)

The only other concern I have is that I'm also worried he's scared of hurting me. I get the impression that he thinks I'm fragile because of my size. I'm 5'6" and just over 100lbs so I'm pretty slim, but I live on a farm and raise cattle so I'm not At. All.

How can I raise he's confidence (not sure of any way else to word it...) around me. I just want some advice from someone with more relationship experience then me.

    Thanks in advance!

  • Gift idea for him?

Our six anniversary is close to Valentine's Day. What do you guys think about my gift ideas?

    Valentine's day:

Right him a 'rain check' note of some sort, saying that we'd go to a near by amusement park or water park this summer.

-would this be ok with you guys?

-should I do the water park or amusement park? I know he loves roller coaster.

    Anniversary:

Taking him to a surprise picnic under the stars on some land my family owns. All the food would be homemade by me of course with coke floats!

-is this 'the gift'? Do I need to get him something else?

I'm more worried about the Valentine's Day gift. What do you guys think about it? Thanks in advance!

  • HELP! I need ideas!!!?

So I'm planning a surprise picnic for my boyfriend for our 6 month anniversary. I'm going to cook everything myself and take him to my favorite spot on earth on some of my family's property.

Would you guys like this? Would you do this for your boyfriend?

    Thanks in advance!

  • What do you think?

Long story short, I'm a small town girl, he's a city boy. Our 6 month is coming up and I want to take him on a surprise picnic on some of my family's land.

    -I'll cook everything myself.

-take him to hand feed some of my cattle(I know he'd love that) before hand

-Time it so it'll be near sunset so we can stargaze(he can't see stars well from his

    home)

-it'll still be cold outside so cuddling will be a must!

-I love dancing, so I'd take the opportunity to teach him how to two-step.

We've never really been on a 'romantic' date before, and I think taking him to feed cows will throw him off so he'll be super surprised when I take him to my favorite spot on earth and unroll the food. Would you guys like this if it was your girlfriend? Girls, would you do this for your guy?

How can I keep this a secret? I can't keep anything from him no matter how bad I want to!

Is there any part of my plan that doesn't sound like a good idea, or anything that I have missed?

    Thanks in advance!!

  • Please help!! Date advice!?

    Boys/girls! Date/anniversary ideas?

Our 6 month is coming up in a few weeks and I wanted to surprise him with a picnic! I live in the country and he lives in the closet city to my town (45 min). I own a lot of land/animals (no horses:(... ) and I was going to take him to my favorite place on earth, despite there being nothing super special about it, and pull out a blanket and ice chest full of food from the back of my truck and surprise him with a picnic. I was planning on cooking everything myself too. And have it perfectly times for the sunset so we could see the stars which he can't see too well from his house.

Before I take him to the picnic place, I was wanting to take him to hand feed some of my dad's cows, because he loves the babies we have at my house. Is this a good idea?

I also really love dancing. As in two-step/swing anything like that. I invited him to my schools winter semi-formal, but he refused to dance (don't blame him... It was a very poorly planned dance and terrible awkward!) and he doesn't know how to. Would this be a good opportunity to teach him? I would use the truck or my phone tucked into my shirt for music.

My boyfriend and I don't do too many 'romantic' things so this would probably REALLY surprise him. Do you guys like the idea? How would you respond if it was your girlfriend?

    Thanks in advance!

  • Our relationship is more like a friendship?

My boyfriend and I have been dating for four months. Up to this point we've taken it really slow and just become close friends first. I would honestly consider him my best friend. I'm really glad we've done that, but now I want, and I can tell he wants, more of a relationship. We haven't even kissed for Pete's sake! We're both Christians so we're not wanting to do anything inappropriate, and I live an hour away from him. What can I do to add 'romance' to our relationship. I live in the middle of nowhere and own a lot of property/animals so any ideas there? He lives in the nearest large city from my town so he hasn't had much of a country experience.

    Thanks in advance!

  • My boyfriend and I are wanting to go to different colleges?

My boyfriend and I have planned on going to these separate colleges forever. The schools are only an hour apart though. We are both very committed and have toyed with marriage before, but both decided it was best to wait.

We live 45 minutes apart as it is and I get to see him 2-3 times a week so living an hour apart wouldn't be that big of a change.

We've both thought about going to the others school, but it just ends up with us going in circles. I've thought about getting my undergraduates at his school then going on to finish at the school I want to go to because it has a better program for what I want to do.

What would you guys do? Thanks in advance!
