My friend and I have just become vegetarians, but we're not sure if we can eat fish and stuff like that. For now, we refuse to, but what's your opinion?

Entering poetry contest... 114, but can't decide which one?

Lovely

What is lovely?

The stars of the night sky,

A breeze blowing by.

The gentle tip-tap of rain,

Blossoming flowers by the window pane.

Snow covered trees,

And waves upon the seas.

The leaves in fall,

But you, my dear, are the loveliest of all.

The Storm

I woke up one night to the rain pouring outside.

A flash of lightning lit up the sky, and I ran to hide.

The thunderous boom shook the house,

I cowered under my blankets like a mouse.

Soon the tip-tap no longer sounded like rain,

There was so much hail outside it was insane!

The storm eventually subsided,

But I was still all shaky and hiding.

Once the storm had gone away,

I climbed outside and went out to play.

And if you're curious, this was my first one (because I get to enter two...)

You were the sunshine that kept me alive,

But then a cloud covered your light and I died.

How am I supposed to survive when you’re not here, by my side?

I tried to live on your memory

But it faded all too fast;

I struggled to think of happy things,

But they were all from the past.

I drowned in drops of sorrow,

Withering and dying away'

Hoping that love would be brought by tomorrow,

And bring a bright, sunny day.

Subject of a poem... what should it be?

I plan to enter a poetry contest but I don't know what the poem should be about! HELP!!!

Friday nights are my writing nights, and today I am starting a new story, because I feel like it. :P

What do you think the storyline should be?

I'm starting a new story, and I need a random city, because I can't think of one. I would like something that you generally don't hear about. Nothing like Paris, or Vegas or anything big like that, please. Thanks a ton! :)

I had a great idea to start a small business with making cute decoration pillows with the design of handkerchiefs. They would come in basically any color you wanted, and I could decorate them will beads. The price for each would be around $5? What do you think?

ok, so here is a story, and i want you guys to tell me who you think is more selfish.

once upon a time, there was this princess, and the king and queen. the king and queen wanted to move to a different land because it was nicer and because there were a few people who lived there in which they loved.

the princess, however, who also loved those people in the other land, wanted to stay in her kingdom because she loved the people there as well. (there were more people in the kingdom than there was in the new land), and because she loved everything in her kingdom. She felt that if she were forced to leave her kingdom, life would never be the same and she would basically die on the inside.

the people did not need the princess to stay with them at all, it was all her own choice. the princess told the king and queen that they could go and leave her behind, but the king and queen refused. they said that they would take her with them.

now, if the king and queen DID actually take the princess against her will, who was being more selfish? the princess who was wiling to stay on her own, because she did not want to leave everything she ever cared about and loved behind, or the king and queen, who wanted to move to the land WITH THE PRINCESS because it was nicer.

p.s.: there were people in the kingdom that the king and queen also loved.
