About a year ago I got a DUI/DWI. It's been driving me nuts ever since. Although I participated in ASAP program, community service, paid fines, paid lawyer fees had to reinstate my drivers license I was under the impression that the DWI would stay on my record. So everytime I apply for a job I wrote down YES under the misdemeanor question on the job application. However so far I had 3 BG investigations where the DUI did not show up ? Once when I tried to rent an appartment in another state and the woman told me your DUI did not show up. Another time when I applied for a job, and Lexis Nexis who performs BG investigtions for the Federal Govmt sent me a letter with NO DUI convictions. I then decided to perform a BG investigation on myself and again the DUI did not show up ? With this in mind maybe I needed to answer NO under the misdemenor question on job applications am I right ?
