  • Honda Rebel 250 (2008) Sputtering and then just stopping...?

On my way to the store today my bike just all of a sudden stopped running. It sputtered and then just stopped running. The battery did die but that was because I was trying to start it so many times.

After I let it sit in the parking lot for a little bit it would start running again. Then I would go and be on my way and it would cut off on me again. Before anyone asks, yes I had my fuel valve on. I could get it to 2nd gear then when I got it to 3rd it just sputtered and died. But when I put the fuel valve onto the reserve side it ran fine. Did I get bad fuel? Or, what else could be the issue? I just got the bike like a month ago. Thanks for any info.

  • Does the South Carolina DMV honor the MSF Course?

Ok, I am taking the motorcycle safety course next week. I live in Columbia, SC and am assigned to Fort Jackson. Recently bought a bike a couple weeks ago. Now I am taking the MSF course. I have tried calling the DMV and nobody there can answer my question. I even tried the dealership where I bought my bike but they didn't sound too sure. So my question is, after I am done with the course can I just go to the DMV to get my endorsement or even after I take the tests and pass the course am I going to have to take additional tests once I get to the DMV or will the DMV see that I already did all that stuff and just give me my endorsement?

  • 2008 Honda Rebel 250c chain question?

On the left side where the chain is located it has a picture at the chain. It says "new" and under that is a green little box and then right next to it it says "replace" and right by that it is in red. I know what the colors mean but is there something by the chain I am not seeing that tells me when I need to have the chain replaced? Don't slam me too hard I am just beginning my journey into becoming a rider.

  • Signing a "Deck" statement?

    For those in the know.

Say I sign a deck statement for Drill Sergeant school, have 26 months left on my current contract what could happen.

I have the strong feeling that I would get put on orders for a dependant restricted tour to Korea or Kuwait. I am trying to weigh my options and if that is a strong possibility then I will just do the Drill Sergeant thing and get out when my ETS date arrives. I have absolutely no plans of staying in.

    Any info is appreciated.

  • Question about Convalescent Leave forms?

Do you send a convalescent leave form to finance even though it is non-chargeable. In my previous unit we never did that but for some reason in the new unit I am in they do that. Any help is appreciated and any sources would help too. I have been researching it all morning and cannot find where it says that.

  • Retain BAH at current Duty Location even though PCSing?

I saw a message out there about retaining your current BAH at your duty location if you have dependants that are not going with you when you PCS. But, that referred to when you go to schooling that requires a PCS move. Question, does this pertain to regular PCS moves also or just for those going to schooling and returning after the schooling is complete?

  • Question for those that know?

My wife is currently 36 weeks pregnant. Last week we had a doctor appointment and they said she was 1CM dilated. They didn't say anything about her being effaced. I don't even know what that means so didn't think about asking it. This whole week she has had a little bit of lower back pain, she has pain in her pelvic bone area and a couple times she has had a mucus type substance come out but no blood spots or anything. What does this mean? Does this mean she will go into labor soon or is it preterm labor signs? I don't know what all this means. Any help is appreciated.

  • Are National Guard/Reserve Soldiers who are attending Basic Training Entitled to receive BAH?

I recently have been reassigned to Fort Jackson, SC and am working in a Basic Training S-1 and I cannot find it anywhere that it says NG/Reserve Soldiers are entitled to receive BAH while in training. I have never had to work with NG/Reservists before. Thanks for any help.

  • Fouling out question?

Example: One team has all 5 players to play in a game going into triple overtime. The other team has just had a player foul out leaving them with only 4 eligible players to be on the court. Does that team with only 4 eligible players have to forfeit the rest of the game and the win goes to the team with 5 players or do they play it out???
