How far along must a baby be when fetal death occurs for labor to be induced rather than DNC performed?
Ok my wife has been asking me questions that i dont know answer to and told her id look online. My sister in law has had 3 kids, her last she had complications with and after giving birrth had to have DNC done to remove placenta. This causes scaring of the uterine wall. She is pregnant again now and only 7-8 weeks and having complications. They have told her that the complications are due to the scarring and theres a 50/50 chance the baby will make it. My wife wants to know how far along she has to be that they would induce labor rather than just performing DNC if the fetus was to die.
