1 AnswerOther - Careers & Employment4 years agoHealth Care employer requirement - qualified health care benefits?
I have had health insurance through my employer for 4 years. They recently were bought back by another company in Sept 2015 and my insurance company changed from Cigna to Blue Cross/Blue Shield. During open enrollment for the next year starting in 2016 I am not eligible to keep my existing plan as a full time employee and my only options to get health insurance through my company will be as a part time employee that is (not a qualified plan) for the ACA. I won t be eligible to enroll until I am with the new company for a year even though I had the same job in the same building and working full time. They offered the Cobra plan that is $350/month that Im opting out of. Can they do that and what are my options?

1 AnswerFood Service8 years agoLooking for a title of a movie?
I'm trying to remember a title of a movie. It's probably late 90's or early 2000's. In the film there is a flashback sequence where there is a car accident at night where a woman is pinned between a car and a tree. She is concious and talking to her husband while emergency crews are on the scene as she is dying. What movie is this?

4 AnswersOther - Diseases9 years agoTax question: Would this be a qualified medical expense?
I have a brain tumor - acoustic neuroma(in the ear drum area). I am suffering from tinnitus(ringing in the ears) and it is severe. I purchased a headphone set and music in order to mask the ringing in my ear. It helps out enough so I can sleep at night and I use it exclusively for this reason. Is this considered a qualified medical expense?
5 AnswersUnited States9 years agoMedical question : tumor by eardrum?
My friend has a small tumor by his left ear and is affecting his hearing. The doctor told him its connected to some nerves of his eardrum. He is going to receive gamma radiation treatment, but was told he probably will have complete hearing loss on his left side in about a year. Is there any kind of rehabilitation for loss of hearing on one side?
1 AnswerOther - Diseases9 years agoFor those that are Mystery Shoppers- Does this seem legit?
I signed up to be a mystery shopper and the company sent me a check for $1950 and they want me to get a Western Union Money order for $1750 and I keep $200 for myself. It sure seems like a large sum of money to be doing this with. I'm very skeptical about this. What do you think?
