Now, I am a resident of Michigan. I am 20 years old. My father claims me on his taxes, but I am a soon-to-be third-year college student at the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT). Recently, I also moved out of the dorms and I am renting an apartment temporarily during the summer while I work on campus, and during the school year.

I was pulled over by a cop the other day who was convinced I need insurance, regardless of my Michigan residence. He also implied I SHOULD be an IL resident, even though I am only temporarily living here as a student.

My question: Do I need moped insurance? Is insurance required based on residence? I know it would be a good idea, but I can't afford it right now, and just need to know if it's LEGALLY REQUIRED.

I've been thinking of developing an app for the Android that would act as a cheap, accurate tachometer. This would require measuring an electric pulse from a sparkplug wire:

My two options would be A. somehow getting the input to the phone, directly from the sensor (through... what though? Will it accept through USB?) or B. building a bluetooth device to transmit to the phone.. though that'd be expensive I imagine (Or reinventing the wheel!)

So, question. I've been with this red-headed girl for two years, until recently. I am in Chicago, she in SW MI where I'm from-- I am almost 20, she will be 19 soon. Both in college, she's still living at home; I'm in my 2nd year and she's in her first. I decided it was too much stress-- because it really was. Here are the factors of why I made the decision:

Factors

- Her parents are crazy, abuse her physically / verbally / mentally, and are highly 'over-protective', if that's applicable.

- She's going to be teaching in Thailand for a year, on her own starting this coming May.

- Stress

- Long distance

- Her parents wouldn't let her pick me up from the train anymore because instead of 'filling her gas tank' one night I gave her $10 one night since I was broke

- She's rather immature at times and instead of listening / understanding, uses my words against me.

- I met a second girl because of the loneliness created by the loneliness, and took it as a sign that something was going wrong. (Didn't want it to get worse)

I drove to her house late at night after work one day and told her we needed to not be in a relationship. Ended alright, told her I loved her and I explained everything, after both of us being immensely upset. Then drove off, back to Chicago.

That was a few weeks ago, maybe a month? A week ago I concluded that she wouldn't heal still talking to me-- that she needed to be alone. I called on the phone and told her that we need to not talk for right now. She took it really badly, and so did I-- never done anything so hard, and never been that upset before. Told her I loved her, she said the same, and that was the end of it. Another set-off for that calling event was her waayy over-reacting to some other girl saying on Facebook that she hugged me--

Anyhow, I decided I can't not talk to this red-headed girl, after two years of a phone call every night, I can't not talk to her. I also feel like somewhere in our relationship, we lost our element of friendship because of sex-- it was like a bandaid to larger problems, and we ended up talking about that most of the time.

I contacted her this morning and essentially asked if I could be her friend still, talk to her, because I miss her and can't do it anymore. What it boiled down to was her telling me I need to, " find a way to prove to me that you are serious" which kinda pisses me off.. as what do I have to 'prove' after two years of being with her?

I have access to a small, mostly reliable motorcycle and a beater of a car. I do not really want to blow $60 on gas getting there and back just to tell her the same things I did this morning. There is, a football game about 15 miles from where she lives at my HS I wanted to attend this Friday, and was thinking of going-- asking her to attend as well so we could talk.

However, one of my friends said I need to do something notable (can;t think of right word) to attain her interest once more. She is hurt, and I don't think wants to talk to me.

What should I do? :(

Really looking here for someone to provide valuable input, as I'm not usually bogged down by relationship **** like this..

She said it has been lasting 3 months with no period, then when she gets it, she has it for over a month. What is her fertility like? Less effective? Maybe everything builds up in those three months, and either increases or decreases chances of getting pregnant?

My girlfriend has been diagnosed with mono (mononucleosis, the 'kissing disease') on Saturday, which was 2 days ago. Before that, she had been feeling ill at the start of the week, about Wednesday or Thursday.

On the Monday of that week, I kissed her, and pretty passionately.. which means we DID transfer saliva. The last time before that was a week prior, the previous Monday.

However, as of right now, I feel perfectly fine. I do not seem to have any obvious symptoms for mono.

My question: If I feel fine now, while she has some symptoms still, does that mean that I either don't have it, or am immune? What are the chances of it being dormant for awhile?

Also.. when can I kiss her again, affectionately? What's like... the shortest time to wait?
