Crossing a river with tiger, goat and grass?
Suppose you are a boatman and you want to carry 3 things across the river, from bank A to bank B. The three are: a tiger, a goat and a bail (bundle) of grass. Conditions:
-You can carry only one thing at a time in each direction.
-Tiger will not eat you. But as we know, tiger will eat goat or goat will eat grass if left alone on a bank.
-You have to complete the transfer in a minimum number of trips.
Show the number of trips with your logic.
