Does it really matter ?

My company owner has found every legal loop hole he possibly can and has done his fair share of things illegal when it comes to employees, pay checks and deducting things like 401k and not sending it to the 401k company for well over 6 months and a former employee who informed him he was going to sue over the 401k issue got laid off in the next round (next day)

now i receive a phone call stating they are cutting my pay $2.00 per hour effect next pay period which starts today. my question is can they do this without written notice? I had believed they had to give 30 days written notice before they changed pay rates, pay date and or pay check delivery method? Oh and I live in Florida

We have been paying car payments on a car that is in my inlaws name for the last 5 years, (they were gonna loose it to the bank and we needed a new car so we just took over the payments) well I am making the final payment in the next 2 weeks and i am a little unsure how to handle things.

We are currently insured under his parents allstate policy, but once she signs the title over to us we will take that to our tax collector and pay to transfer title & get our tag. My question is what do I do about insurance are we still covered under her policy like for our drive home and such? I already have our plan picked out with Geico but I can't insure a car we don't own yet so I can't do that first?

Any advice would be great thank you

3 weeks ago I was in the er for sever pain I ended up having severe pancreatitis and some gallstones, so they put me on antibiotics for the infection and I under went a ertc and 3 days later they removed my gallbladder. I was sent home the next day and took 5 more days to rest before going back to work (daycare center). Now 3 weeks later I am feeling very blah and at one point yesterday I had a low grade fever now this morning I am having some light pain in the upper abdomen on a scale of 1 to 10 I would say maybe a 1 or 2 just uncomfortable.

Any thoughts on what this could be? I go in for my post op check up this afternoon so I am going to go over this with my doctor.

I own & operate on my own a small licensed home child care.

I have been watching "a" for 4 years now, everything is great except for his parents. They are irresponsible, pay late, pick up late never bring anything the child needs, don't take him to the dr for check ups etc....

The mess began in April with mom changed work hours from monday-friday 8:30am to 4:00pm to Monday-Thursday 6:50 am to 5:30pm (not actually picking up till close to 6 most days) and I said okay I would watch him the extra hours however since mom isn't working on Fridays a will need to stay home with mom or they will have to pay $20 for the Fridays they would like care. Well she didn't like it but she agreed any ways.

Last Monday comes and she drops off and pays on time and then around 10 am calls and tells me grandparents are coming to visit and will be watching a from now on that July 15th is his last day. Okay I accept this even though our contract states a written notice is require by either party. Well Monday July 5th she brings a and says she is going to work (only reason I agreed to watch a is because they were working since it is an holiday for me) well mom & dad take the day to go out on a "day date" and didn't pay or pick up on time they sent gma to pick up.

So I sent her a reminder email that payment was due and needs to be paid asap Tuesday. She emails me at 11pm Monday night saying I breached contract and a will no longer be coming and she is not paying me. That I am her employee and it is none of my business what she does with her time. So I replied stating I have not breached contract and payment is due weither they choose to bring a or not, and payment of $200 is due by Friday July 9th in order to avoid court proceedings. She calls my husband and yells at him for 20 minutes (while I'm sleeping) and so I typed the same letter stating facts along with my contract copy and certified mail to them today requiring payment by Friday.

Am I wrong, should i just let this go, should i enforce payment, any advice is appreciated.

Okay my husbands brother is getting married and my daughter and 2 nieces are asked to be flower girls. My sister in law has helped the bride to be plan the wedding and they have decided to hand make the flower girl dresses. Well our religious belief is to dress modestly we wear skirts,dresses below the knee and shirts with sleeves to cover up the arm pit. Well they have decided the flower girls dresses to be sleeveless (Thanksgiving weekend wedding COLD weather non the less) and we refuse to allow our daughter to wear a sleeveless dress so my question is. Am I being to unreasonable to ask to have sleeves put on at least my daughters dress (it wouldn't hurt for all 3 to have them) and I have even said if she doesn't like that idea we understand and our daughter doesn't have to be IN the wedding. Now the family is upset with me. My husband and I are the only ones with these religious beliefs in the family.

What should I do??

I have been on antibiotics since Tuesday and spoke with my dr today and she wants it removed asap because of the pain it is causing and the infection. However I don't currently have health insurance and the general surgeon she sent me too can't see my for a consult until mid next week. It is causing an extreme amount of pain and is quite large. I spoke with my local urgent care and they said they will lance & drain it there but the cost would be around $1000.00 all to be paid in full today. So my question is if I go to the er will they lance & drain it as well and perhaps give me something for the pain. I know my bill will be crazy but I can make payments to them. And I am looking for some relief from the pain

Ok I have sebaceous cyst for over 13 years now and never had any problems with it. Last week it began hurting and growing in size, so I went to my general dr and she told me it was infected and put me on antibiotics. She also said it needed to be surgiclly removed. Well I don't have health insurance right now so that would cost a ton.

I have been on the antibiotic for over 24hrs now and the pain is still extream it is red burning up (on my back shoulder) and it kills me to move or even just sitting there the pain covers the entire left side of my back. Should I go to the ER and have it removed surgiclly or should I give the meds a little longer to work?

Okay. I am a renter in a condo development and today I am home and receive a knock on the door I open it and my on site maintenance guy & another guy are standing there. I am extremely busy with play date at the moment and they say we need to check the fire sprinklers and don't really give me time to answer the sprinkler guy just walks in (my maint. guy stays outside) he opens every closet and room looks at the sprinkler and leaves. I don't have a problem with them coming to check them I know it has to be done. My question and upset is shouldn't my management team have notified us that they were coming in a day or so before hand? What would they do if I wasn't home or didn't have the ability to let them in at that time like today was a little rough I have kiddos playing and running around and a strange man walking through my house (yes his shirt said simplex grinnel but that was it no other proof of who he was)

Do I have a right to be upset and complain or should I just let it go?

I am new to this, if you pay some one 6,000.00 per year to care for your two children and make over 50,000 a year as a married couple. You can claim 20% of the 6000 which is only 600$. Is this really a savings worth claiming as the parent filling out my taxes or is more a pain and not a big savings? Any help on the topic would be great.

So I asked this question on Tuesday and now saturday it is happening again. On tuesday night I had dark red blood when I went to the bathroom and so I used a tampon and went to bed, I woke up with no more blood and a dry tampon (TMI sorry). No problems since. So tonight (Saturday) I went to the bathroom and had some more light pink blood after going to the restroom. I had sex on Sunday & Friday night. My period ended last Monday the 5th.

There shouldn't be any possibility of pregnancy because we had a baby May 06 and that took us about a year to get pregnant. My husband had a vasectomy October 06, he got tested Nov. 06 sample had sperm present but were all dead, tested again Dec 06 no sperm tested. No previous tests were done. So simply I am not on b/c no protection is being used.

Just not sure what is going on does it sound like I should call a dr, or kind of wait and see if it happens again. I know I can't take a pregnancy test yet as I just finished my period on 1/5 and am very regular at 29 days apart.

Help please

I just started weight watchers on Monday and I printed out a sample menu form the website. But my question is what is the best way to loose the most weight, by eatting a bunch of low point foods or some low point some high point? Also I know things like alcohol & chcolate also have points but some are low, is it still better to stay away from these items even though I "CAN" have them? Also do we have to eat all of our points every day, like today I only ate 14.5 of my 28 allowed points is that bad?

Any advice to help optimize my weight loss would be great. Thanks for your help
