  • Can you help to identify this snake?

    We live in Central Florida and have found several snakes similar to this one near our property. We do live near water and an open field, and worry that we might have a snake problem on our hands. We know not to mess around with these guys, but any help identifying them would be helpful. As you can see, I removed this one's head for good measure.
