I am doing a bit of background research on The Cornishman train route between London (Paddington Station) to Penzance. The train started in 1890 and I need information on it for 1891 so shouldn't be much changed.

I would like to find out the price of a ticket in a cabin, What breaks there were (I believe it was probably non-stop from Paddington to Exter, but that was in 1896) and how long roughly these were.

A note of the style of train (I've seen images of a few styles that seamed to be used) and the headcode if it had one for the down trip.

I appear to have most of the other information I need such as the departing time and the time it reached Penzance.

If you are unaware of the information, knowing someplace where I can get it would be nice. a couple of books I've read on the subject aren't too helpful.

In the UK, in World War 2, Many people used to get around during the black out with a Candle in a jam jar. I am unsure why, as this would work inside the house, throwing the light more upwards and not out of the windows, but in the open, it would be a target for bombers, so any one have any confirmed reasons for this (unconfirmed was that it would be easy to put out)?

I remember a film from.. it's gotta be 80s or 90s, in which a guy went back in time, or something like that, in a Car with either a inbuilt AI or a system like that. He called out 'Jesus H Christ' and the computer commented it had searched and Jesus isn't have a middle name.. What the hell film was it? been driving me nuts for years.. And I don't want the stupid answers like 'Back to the Future' cause that would mean you haven't read this..

In 1949, BBC recorded the Battle & Battle Hill Bonfire Boys Celebration, which seams to have taken place on Friday the 4th of November 1949. It started around 9pm. I believe it was a Audio recorded and evidence says it was aired around the world in various locations. One of the Headlining attractions that year were the Dagenham Girl Pipers.

While i don't believe this recording still exists today, I'm wondering if anyone has or knows of Newspaper clippings, extracts or anything else relating to this for more information.

I am working on writing a shortish story that features a young (23-25) year old who looks like a 12-14 year old due to Height and breast development and, as such, feels a lot of problems with Society and others for treating her like a child, even though she is mental and physical (apart from height and breast development) a young adult. Problems such as getting a date, Drinking in a pub etc.

I know many people are short and flat chests come in a range of sizes etc,.. but this character must be able to pass as a young teen (or slightly younger) which is the source of many problems and hardships for her. I am wondering about any case examples or medical conditions which can cause this, so i can correctly research the problem before writing in too much great detail on the topic.
