I have an older Minolta 7000I Maxuum series camera. I have heard that the lenses from this camera may fit the Sony digital SLRs. Can anyone confirm or deny this? I'd also be interested in hearing from Sony digital SLR owners. I know nothing about Sony as a camera maker. Thanks!
3 AnswersCameras1 decade agoPlans for a mobile trailer/ stage?
Does anyone know of plans for a mobile trailer stage? I'm talking about the sort of thing you could pull into a place, set up and level, and have a band perform on. I have an old mobile home frame that I think would work well for the basic platform, but would need to construct 2 fold down wings. I've seen these around, but never up close enough to notice design details. I'd be willing to by plans or blue prints if I can find a source.
3 AnswersDo It Yourself (DIY)1 decade agoHelp! My son is being sued after auto accident.?
My son was recently in a car wreck. He was driving down an expressway in the rain. His car hydroplaned and spun hitting another car. We have just received a letter from a lawyer stating the other driver is holding my son responsible for his injuries and is suing due to his " permanent and disabling injuries". My son is insured. The other driver was able to drive away from the accident. Certainly I will contact our insurance company after the holiday weekend, but my question is; what happens then? I know accidents and law suits happen all the time - but never before to my family. Thank you.
16 AnswersInsurance & Registration1 decade agohow much can I sell festival t-shirts for?
I am planning a late summer family type festival in a park. There will be live music (all styles) kids games, sand castle building etc. Entry is free, and I expect to draw about 5000 people. I am preparing to order souvenir t shirts to sell with the festival logo on front and bands listed on back. The shirts - in 3 color silk screen- will cost me about $7.50 ea. How many can I expect to sell in a day, and at what price point? I could buy the shirts a bit cheaper, by lowering the quality or design work, but I'd rather not do that.
1 AnswerSmall Business1 decade agoneed graphic arts design help. Please!?
I am having shirts printed for a nonprofit group that I belong to. The group is involved in helping local musicians. Our slogan is 'Banding together for a better community'. I'm trying to find a way to graphically convey the word 'banding' in the musical sense. Maybe with a microphone or guitar symbol incorporated. I want it to be subtle, but easy to understand. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!
2 AnswersDrawing & Illustration1 decade agoHickory floor with oak baseboard and trim?
I want to install a hickory hardwood floor in a kitchen with all oak trim, doors and cabinets. The oak is all clear finished (no stain) as will be the hickory. I'm tired of looking at oak, but concerned about how it will look to mix the woods. Also I plan to install a new kitchen island. Any advice on the finish for that cabinet? i.e. oak or hichory, stain or paint?
