Is it strange for a straight male to go to a Paula Abdul Total Package concert by himself, especially since it is a female focused concert?
Would this be strange, especially since Paula Abdul is not the feature act and only performs for 20 minutes? The other groups are Boyz 2 Men and New Kids on the Block, which only appeal to women. I am a big fan of Paula Abdul, and would probably leave after she finishes performing.
2 AnswersRock and Pop4 years agoIs it strange for a heterosexual male in his late 20s to go to a Sabrina Carpenter concert by himself and do the VIP upgrade?
I was wondering if this would be awkward as well as if it is not normal for a straight male attend such an event, especially since it could be a younger audience as well as it seems that mainly women listen to her music. I am a fan of Sabrina Carpenter's music, especially with her recent album, and think she has a lot of talent and is a good singing voice.
1 AnswerRock and Pop4 years agoIf Clinton is the best candidate to serve the average American's interest, why is she the only one taking large donations from Wall Street?
If Hillary Clinton is the best candidate to serve the average American's interest, why is she the only one of the four running who is taking large donations from Wall Street and corporations? Wouldn't this be biting the hand the feeds her if she went against her large donors? Plus, Wikileaks revealed that her public positions differ from her private positions and that she admits to being away from the middle class as well as advocating for what is best for the elites.

2 AnswersGovernment1 decade agoWhat do you think about food stamp money being used for Obama's nutrition program?
Is this the right program to take money from to use on a nutrition program, or do you think that Obama should find another program to take money from instead, as food stamps are aimed at helping those who are less fortunate?

2 AnswersGovernment1 decade agoWhat do you think about Obama breaking his promise on transparency in the White House?
"President Obama has abolished the position in his White House dedicated to transparency and shunted those duties into the portfolio of a partisan ex-lobbyist who is openly antagonistic to the notion of disclosure by government and politicians."

7 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoDo you think Obamanomics has failed?
"Add Obama's determination to raise everybody's taxes by allowing the Bush cuts from 2001 and 2003 to expire Jan. 1, 2011, and it's easy to why banks, businesses and consumers are hoarding trillions of dollars that could otherwise spur economic growth. And we haven't even addressed the destructive effect on economic growth of Obama's nationalization of major portions of the economy, including the banks, health care and the auto industry.
The economy is stalling, unemployment seems stuck at European levels of idleness, the federal deficit and the national debt are at historic highs, public confidence in Congress is at its lowest-ever level and big majorities of Mainstream Americans say Obama has the country on the wrong path. Obamanomics has failed miserably and it's time for everybody in this town to admit it so we can move on."

12 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoWhy has President Obama been continuing implementing economic policies that have historically failed?
Stimulus plans and government work projects have been proven to impede economic growth, such examples are Japan's recent long recession, FDR's New Deal, Mexico's economy in the 70s and 80s, etc. These polices have impeded economic growth and recessions lasted between 10 to 20 years because of them, yet Obama still insists that these policies work when they have actually been proven to not work.
However, reducing government spending and lowering taxes, have proven to be the best source of economic growth. A good example of this is in 1920, Harding inherited an economy with 13% unemployment and implemented tax cuts and reductions in government spending by 50%. The end result was unemployment went down to 7% in the next year, and eventually down to 2% for the following year.
Why does Obama not learn from history, and instead sticks with policies that only impede economic growth?

10 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoDoes the government having access to citizen's personal information increase the chance of identity theft?
The U.S. government now has access to citizen's credit card statements, medical records, and bank account information. Do you believe this increases the probability of identity theft as this information could potentially be abused by public employees who have access to that information?
1 AnswerGovernment1 decade agoWhat do you think about Obama flying his dog on a seperate plane for vacation?
Is this a waste of tax dollars as this dog could have flown with the Obama family in Air Force One instead of having its own jet? I guess you can spend money like crazy for dumb stuff like this when your spending other people's money who have no say in how it is spent.
