Why hasn't Obama brought unemployment levels down to what they were under G.W. Bush instead of increasing it?

It is a matter of priorities, Barry would rather move his agenda than actually help the economy.

The United Statesian economy is a huge economy, in fact it is by far the largest in the world (three times larger than the second largest economy). It took Bush six years to set this economy in reverse, it will take Obama at least three years to stop it from going backwards and start moving forwards again.

To quote our president "If you want a car to go forwards you put it in D, if you want it to go backwards you put it in R" pretty clever I thought :-)

The way he is going it's going to get worse. Just wait until the Bush tax cuts expire and the wealthy yank all their money from the markets. We will fall into a depression faster than you could imagine.

it is part of his plan...he wants to raise it up to 10% over this next year....then he will magically drop it down to 5% before his election in 2012...therefore showing the public how he dropped it 5% in just 2 years! It's all part of the plan...

It's not like it's on purpose. Your guys drove the economy into a muddy ditch and now you all are bitching that Obama isn't digging and pulling fast enough.
