I am a 6th generation native Texan from a family of 12 children and have been married the last 28 years to my wonderful, long-suffering wife. My ancestors came to Texas in the early 1800's. One maternal g-g-g-grandfather was among the founders of the Republic of Texas and is buried in the State Cemetery in Austin. Through my g-g-g-grandparents I am related to a number of historical figures, including Lyndon Baines Johnson, Aaron Burr and Jonathan Edwards. On my paternal side there were other Texas pioneers who helped to found and build Independence, Tyler, Austin and Houston, Texas. Through some of them I am also related to other political figures, including Thomas W. Veazey, a 19th century governor of Maryland. My interests are fairly wide and varied and include reading, puzzles, drawing, genealogy, home improvement projects, and, of course, the study of mathematics and word origins. Yahoo! Answers has now joined that list
Would you trust the man who made these remarks to run your country?

This is just one in a long string of gaffes which point out the man's utter incompetence. And he dares to assert that he has what it takes to run the United States. What a joke! He doesn't even know what universe he's in.
7 AnswersCurrent Events1 decade agoWith new management in Washington, how long do you think it will take for the Bush Administration to implode?
Considering the Democrats will not rubberstamp Bush Administration policies or actions, and are now asking tough questions, demanding real explanations and attempting to do the will of the people rather than Corporate America regarding Iraq, Bush and Company's prospects for success in forging ahead with their miscreant ways appear a little bleak. Administration officials (Gonzales and Rove) are now scurrying around with egg on their faces looking for places to hide. There are none.
Poor George, perhaps he should have thought things through a little more carefully before thinking he could hide all his actions from the American public. There is an old saying that murder will out. In this case, perhaps we should add so will gross mismanagement, misrepresentation, obfuscation, arrogance, incompetence and downright "disassembling" (dissembling), to use one of Dubya's favorite words.
