En este artículo publicado el día de hoy 9 de diciembre en el periódico el UNIVERSAL de México, el municipio de Cuahutitlan Izcalli padece actualmente una ola de extorsiones telefónicas y secuestros "virtuales". Como resultado negocios cerrados (antros y restarantes).
