I have been puting off getting ready for this second child until after the holidays. Now that the holidays are over and I have to deal with reality I have no idea where to start. We do not know the sex of this child and we have a daughter that is just over 2 years old. I saved most of here baby clothes (we did mostly unisex with her - I hate girly pinks and purples) but what things do we need to re-purchase besides a new carseat/stroller?

So I have my 19 week ultrasound today. SInce I have a a 2 year old, my husband will be outside with her. My husband doesn't want to know the sex so he feels better being outside of the room.

My husbands parents have decided that they want to come in, which is fine. I just worry that if they find something wrong, my in-laws will freak. They are nice people but have had two still-births of their own and tend to be a bit nagative anyway.

Has anyone invited their in-laws to see, and if so, did you feel uncomfortable? I would rather my own parents but my mom died several years ago and my dad has no interest "until its out and healthy"

Again, I know I am being paranoid, but my mind is racing today.

Ok so I was watching this Alton Brown special on the Food Network. They showed and area that makes these and apparently they are pretty good. Even though it sounds pretty bad.

Its is dill pickles that have been drained and the brine replaces by Cherry Koolaide with sugar (I KID YOU NOT)

I saw a movie as a kid (about 25 years ago or so) on San Francisco TV channel 44 - Noon Movies.

Here is what I remember, if you can name it you get the 10 pionts and my gratitude.

Young teen girl goes to orphanage. Vampire lady runs it. There is one scene where the girl is outside looking into a window. Vampire lady is rocking a young child to sleep. As soon as child is out and head rolls back, she bites child on adam's apple.

Also, teen girls father isn't dead but a crazy zombie that is being hunted in the surrounding woods/jungle.

LMP was 5/28 AF was due yesterday 6/24. Got POS. result on 6/23(took 3 different tests to be sure) .

My husband and I have been trying for our second. Now that I am pregnant, I am freaking out. I want this, don't get me wrong. My fears are steming from my first pregnancy. It was very difficult with high blood pressure and Hypermesis Gravaderum. I haven't had more then moodyness and thermostat problems (I am HOT all the time) so far, but I am scared that I may get too sick to care for my daughter.

Any words of advise, or encouragement would be great!

I love oxtail. I had only had it italian style until a couple weeks ago.

I was taken to a local Philipino restaurant where I ordered Kari-Kari, oxtail (and tripe, but I skipped the tripe). It was amazing! It was in a peanut like sauce, with eggplant and some other veggies.

If you have a recipe, or know of a website that may have the recipe I would appreciate it.

So, I am not pregnant. What I was wondering is:

Can you tell anything about a womans fertility based on the color of her menses?

Example:

some say dark brown blood is "old blood". Did the uterus not empty out last month? and if not, why? Do you think this has any affect on fertility or implantation?

My husband had a good point. If my cycle was 22 - 24 days while having an IUD. Will my cycles still be the same after its removall?

Last AF w/ IUD (Merina w/ hormones) was on 4/8/07. IUD was removed on 4/20 (TTC). Slight cramping but no bleeding until evening of 4/22 which lasted until 4/27. The got what I assume was first real AF on 5/2. We have been having sex ever other day so far, since not sure when I ovulate. If I don't count the week after IUD removal as AF then it was 25 days between cycles. If I do count it as AF then there are 11 days between that and 5/2.

No AF as of yet, but not sure if I am late (neg. test today, maybe too early) Feeling pg, but maybe just my mind.

If anyone can offer advise (not rude comments) I would appreciate it.

So I have a very short cycle, usually about 23 days. I have never taken notice of my vaginal mucus before now. I notice that I have a "moist" feeling. Its got no smell, and its almost clear, not real sticky though. Is this still "egg whites"?

Been "knocken' boots" every other day just in case, we are trying for a second.

So, my husband and I are working on getting pregnant with a second child. I have heard that there are alot of things that are different. Like you "just know" that you are pregnant, you show sooner, not as sick?? What were your experiences?

I have a great relationship with my boss. But lately he feels more like my husband then my boss. We get along great and there is sexual tension. I can see the potential for a major no-no on both of our parts. The major problem is that we are both married! I love my husband and have no intentions of cheating. How do I back off on my relationship with my boss without looking like an idiot or being too obvious. As I said, we are great friends too. I don't want to mess this up.

Our office is very small and very close. I am looking for a unique holiday party idea. Aprox. 9 people all over 21 and living with 15 miles of each other. We don't want the normal rental spot in a bar or restaurant.

How long should you wait after having IUD removed until trying to get pregnant?

I trust my husband but I feel threatened by the relationship. Am I nuts?
