Advice on learning to play drums?
Hi I want a new hobby, and really interested in learning the drums. I rent a house, the drums teacher said it would help to practice if I had my own, but it'll be too loud! I dont have a garage to put it in. Does anyone have this problem? Any advice on how I would go about it? How do you learn drums if the noise is going to be a problem living so close to people? Are electric drums any good?

5 AnswersOther - Yahoo Mail1 decade agowould anything help my skin?
I work as a full time cleaner, self employed. The past few weeks because of the heat, ive been so hot at work. I wear a strappy top and 3/4 length leggings. My chest is going rashy/spotty with the heat and sweat etc. I wear a strappy top to keep me cool and keep me ventilated lol but now i want to cover up because it looks horrible! Ive tried putting a bit of talc on it to keep it dry but that seems to make it worse. Is there anything i can do to make it go, anything i can put on it to help? I wash myself with witch hazel and tea tree stuff which helps skin
1 AnswerOther - Skin & Body1 decade agoWhy is she doing this?
Ok
My mum and dad have 2 labradors, pure bred. both 3 years old. They are both very different. One (Lucy) is very laid back and relaxed. She very lazy and love nothing more than snuggling up and having her tummy stroked. Skye on the other hand, she seems tense all the time, constantly wandering round, never sits still. she walks around the table countless times. She whines all the time, when we go to stroke her she jumps all over you, and gets too excited. When they are split up, if one needed to go to the vet, for example the other would scream the house down until they are together again. This has happened since they were pups. But the last few months Skye seems to want to be alone all the time. We call her in and try to stroke her and give her cuddles, but she jumps all over us. Lucy doesnt. Sometimes we cant find her and she is alone outside in the rain, just sat out there. Is it possible for dogs to be sad/depressed? What can we do?Im getting quite worried about her, Ive never seen a dog want "personal space". She sits outside in the rain for hours by herself. hses not ill or in pain, what is wrong with her? Should we take her to a doggie psychiatrist??
3 AnswersDogs1 decade agoArgh Please Help! Dantes Inferno game...?
Ive completed dantes Inferno twice in the past week (Im trying to get the achievements!) theres a few which I think I should have got, but havent, and wondering if someone could shed some light on this:
The one where you get an achievement for completing the forest of suicides, its seems pretty plausible, but I havent got it, am i doing something wrong? Also the one where you go through it and dont get lost. the first time through i went the wrong way, and then the second time with all my upgraded stuff i went though the right way, and it didnt give it me!
On the second try through I looked at the walkthrough, trying to get all the relics/coins etc, and Im missing one relic even though I went through step by step on the walkthrough.
I think I have absolved/punished all the shades bar one. That one where you jump across the turning cogs, and kind of double back over a vertical cog and somehow land on a ledge. He seems pretty impossible and its well annoying. I ahve looked on youtube and I know how to do it, but it isnt doing it! Any more tips or cheats. I dont care anymore, I cant even count how mnay times I have tried it id rather just cheat and get this last shade to get the achievement.
Please help, I really want to fully complete the game!
Thanks
1 AnswerVideo & Online Games1 decade agoUnable to have sex? Please help.?
I am 25 in a loving relationship of 4 1/2 years. The problem is its almost impossible to have sex. We have had sex, after trying for ages, but about 95 percent of the time it cant be done! We hardly have sex now, it could go months without having sex.I have read up on this and it seems to be something called vaginismus. I can insert a tampon, although doesnt go in as easily as most people. Were getting really frustrated because we are both in the mood, and I am "ready" but his penis only gets in about an inch and its like he hits a wall. We keep trying but then its too painful. And we have to give up. He think Im not attracted to im anymore. This isnt normal and I hate this. I am relaxed like everyone says, so I dont know. Please help.

3 AnswersPC1 decade agoPlease help, what should I do?
Ill try and keep this short.
I have been with my boyfriend for 4 1/2 years, and living with with for 2. I love him and he loves me but recently hes been annoying me alot especially the living part! I am quite a clean person, I work full time, coming home after 5pm. He is self employed and comes home whenever hes done a job really (hes a tiler) Do you think its reasonable that if I am working past 5 and he finishes at say 3, he should do a bit of housework? Just washing up and general tidying. He is quite lazy and admits it! I hate laziness, because I am not like that. He finished at 3.30 today and I came home at 5.30 so he had 2 hours to help do something at home. I got in and he hadnt done anything there were plates and cups from breakfast, and it was a tip. I say to him what you been up to? And he just says relaxing. And when I say you couldve washed up, he just laughs in my face. It sounds petty, but when its all the time, its breaking us apart. The love isnt there because were bickering alot. And just feel like room mates. We still love eachother, but I cant help but thinking-"is this my life?" amd how long ti would last because i wouldnt be happy, but i dont want to break up. I cant afford to live on my own, I feel if we broke up it would be a lot of years wasted in a way.I moved 20 miles to live with him and started a business here, so another thing if we break up ill have to break up and lose my customers and business. What should i do? Honest answers please, and please dont say its petty and get a life, because if anyone has been in this confusing situation they would know.
7 AnswersSingles & Dating1 decade agoSHould I crate train him?
We might be getting a 3 year old lab. We are going to look at him properly tonight. He is in foster care until an owner wants him. I dont know the whole story, but apparently he was kept in a cage pretty much all the time, since he was a pup, and his poor tail has to be half amputated because of ulcers. He must have had a horrible experience being in the crate, so should i never crate train him for travelling reasons? Mainly for his safety and comfort. Should he just sit in the car as normal? Thanks

4 AnswersOther - Computers1 decade agoAny staffie owners out there?
Staffies are given bad press by the news for attacking people, especially children. But if you get one from a puppy and bring it up well, with lots of love and basically non aggressive, it will be a good dog wont it? We may be getting a staffie puppy in a few weeks, and my bf says its fine as long as you train it from the start and obviously not to breed for fighting! Is this true? Can you make any breed "soft"? If I give it cuddles from an early age, it wont be aggressive will it? I heard that they love people but not so good with other dogs. Will they be constantly lunging at other dogs in the park? help!
17 AnswersDogs1 decade agoWill be getting a puppy in a few months but still cant decide what breed!! Lab or beagle?
It was either Lab, beagle or a staffie. I ruled out the staffie. I have had labs since I was about 8 (I am 24 now), never had a beagle. I cant fault a lab at all, but i kinda wanted a different breed, and a smaller dog, as our house isnt huge. The down sides to beagle is ive heard they dont come back when you call them and you can let them off the lead, also they are escape artists! But they are perfect size, and from what I have seen, they seem really lovely and friendly.
I would walk either one I get everyday, we have a fenced off yard in the back, and a nearby playing field where loads of dogs play.
If I got a beagle, would I have to get an extra extra long lead, so he has his freedom walking, but he's still attached to me? We live near a beach, and I know with a lab i could let him off the lead and he can swim in the sea, but beagle wouldnt be able to.
Please help with my desision.
Would I have to talk to a vet or kennels, to ask about more info? Even though I have looked up alot of stuff already.
Thanks in advance.
18 AnswersDogs1 decade agoAdvice for my boyfriend's sleeping patterns. How can I help him sleep more routinely?
On the weekend, he goes to bed about 2am and sleeps in till about 11.30am, which is fair enough in the weekend. But last night (sunday) he went to bed at 3am, and had to get up at 8.30 and was so tired. I say to him you should go to bed ata reasonable time like 11pm. But he says he isnt tired. Then when he gets tired he'll go to bed really late and be knackered the next day.
What can I do to help him? I ask him if hes stressed about anything thats why he cant sleep, but he says no. He says he doesnt want to go to the docs coz theyll put him on sleeping tablets and he doesnt want that.
2 AnswersOther - General Health Care1 decade agoWhy do i keep having dreams of the past?
I moved out last year because I didnt really get on with my sister and I was unhappy. I keep having dreams about still living back home and trying to "get back home". Also my school life was dreadful, I got bullied and was very shy. I keep dreaming that Im back in high school. Everythings the same as it was when I was there. Everytime I have a dream it brings back the memories when i just want to have nice dreams!
2 AnswersDream Interpretation1 decade agoWhy am I starting to get mould around my windows? How do i stop it from coming back?

7 AnswersOther - Home & Garden1 decade agowhich energy supplier is the one where its cheaper from 7pm?
I saw it on an advert, I thought it was EDF but forget. It said something about being cheaper frmo 7pm or 9pm. We have economy 7 (not our choice) and our "daytime" readings are more expensive than our night ones. But not in in the day! Im guessing "day" to them means tea time ish. So anything after 7pm cheaper would be great. Can anyone remember which supplier it is. Southern electric maybe? We are with British Gas at the min dual fuel.
1 AnswerOther - Home & Garden1 decade agoA few questions on when I get a puppy. Advice please!?
Hi
I have been brought up with dogs my whole life, but i havent brought up a dog from being a puppy on my own before (I am 24).
I am hoping to to get one next year maybe April time. Few questions really:
We live in a semi detached house (rented) we are allowed pets, but if anything gets damaged, we pay for it. I am self employed and so is my bf. We have a yard, and there is actually a dog flap in the back door. Where should I put the puppy when Im at work? A crate? Roaming around the kitchen? Or make a "pen" so he can wander out in the dog flap? It would have wire mesh on the roof so he cant jump out etc? I am thinking very detailed about this, using baby gates and such for restricting him from certain rooms. Id like him to be able to move around, but a bit worried he'll destroy everything! But not sure whether to put him in his crate at night?
I am hoping he will be ok being left alone. I was thinking if we got him on a fri, have the weekend, then Ill take a week off work, and then my bf will take a week off work, so he gets used to the routine- is two weeks enough? At the min latest I am out in the morning is just before 9 and latest Im back in just after 5. My bf usually finishes work around 3pm/4pm. Will this be ok?? I can nip home in the day to let him out for the toilet, but wont he start crying if I leave him again? I dont want my neighbours to get mad! Should I let them know we will be getting a puppy?
This is something we really really want, and I dont want to wait until I get my own house because it doesnt look likely at the minute.
Any advice would be much appreciated!
It is going to be a Beagle by the way.
