I really hope someone can help me out here. Im tring to play an online game with a friend through a third party vpn client such as hamatchi howerver when i install them the installers cannot add the vpn drivers for some reason.I have a realteck PCIe GBE family controller for my network adapter. I have tried everything i can think of including uninstalling eset nod32 which is supposed to have compatability issues.Windows network troubleshooter doesnt come up with anything either.I have also reset the network drivers and any other setting i could think of. The reason im trin g over vpn is that ubisofts servers are crap and just wont let me on to play.Anyway if anybody has a solution it would be greatly appreciated.

Im hoping someone can answer this question as im having a hard time finding the info through google. I own an m4a785td-v evo motherboard ( http://uk.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=fcsXWSxnhzZE9... ) and a ati 5770 graphics card. I am hoping to buy a second one soon but am concerned the pcie 2.0 x4 lame might bottleneck it. Has anybody tried crossfire in 16x\4x config and if so wat were the results. some of the info ive read so far have suggested it should be fine as its pcie 2.0 as opposed to pcie1.1. I recently purchased an ati 5770 graphics card and it does a great job on all new games.However i was wondering if i could use my old ati 4650 to boost performance (posibly as a physics card). I have googled this several times and the answers are vague and mixed.I Know you can do this with nvidia cards but is there a similer system for ati.

My cpu fan has been running very fast recently and is way too loud. Also my cpu temps are idleing round 50c. I dont no wat caused this prob as the fan used to auto adjust its speed. I have cleaned out the dust out of the heatsink and that hasnt helped and i dont think its the thermal compound as i havnt taken the heatsink off since i built it. My proccesor is the amd phenom 955 be clocked at stock speed(3.2ghz) im am also using the stock cooler. My case has plent of ventilation( 2 80mm exaust fans on the back a 80 mm intake on the side and a 120mm intake on the front). i know its not these fans as i stopped the cpu one with my finger for a second and it went quiet. Also my cable management is not the prob as there isnt a wire to be seen in the case. Hope someone can help as its doing my head in. Thanks in advance.

Hi i recently checked the free space on my c drive and realised that there is about 130Gigs of unaccounted space on the drive. I added up up all the files i have on the drive (including the windows folder) and cant figure out wat is using this space. Any help would be appreciated cause this is alot of space im loosing..thanks in advance

Im having a few probs with my current setup. Firstly i have vista ultimate 64bit and a canyon wireless pci card. It can connect to the internet but seems to drop the connection very now and then and then reconnect.Does any one know how to solve this?

My second prob is that im trying to connect a xbox 360 to the internet through my computers ethernet port but my computer doesnt even recognise the lan cable plugged in. If any one can help it'll be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Can any one help. Ive been using my nlaptop to get wireless internet on my desktop and every thing was working fine. Since im now selling my laptop i reformated it and reinstalled vista. Now my desktop can recognise the network but not connect to the internet. The laptop is running vista basic and thr desktop ultimate. This is only a temporary solution till i get a pci card but if any one knows how to solve this it would be apprciated. Thanks

Im looking for a graphics card for my new system. Im not looking for the best of the best.Just a card good enough to run most games. I was looking at the geforce 9800gt any one no if this is a good card.

Hi im tring to solve a problem im having. My laptops audio and vga output apear to be getting interferance from my mouse. My mouse is a wired one and the reason i think its the mouse is when i scroll with the mouse both interferences stop. The vgas interference is in the form of lines moving up and down the screen and the audios is static which sounds like the fans or the disk drive coming over the speakers.ive checked all the connections and they seem fine and similerily the problems not with my screen or speakers. Any advice is greatly appreciated

Can anyone tell me how good the onboard graphics on this motherboard are. Its only temporary till i cabn get a graphics card.Also if you could recomend a goog graphics card for €130 it would be appreciated

Hi i have a laptop with vista for about 2 years now. Im currently building a new computer and would like to no how to create an installer cd. I dont have one as vista came pre installed. My intention is to install vista untill i can afford windows 7 and will then do a clean install.......if any body knows how to do this or knows any good links to guide i would be greatly apreciated

Im builing a computer and it will be ready in the next week or so. Ive heard if i buy vista now il get a free updrade when its released on october22. Can anyone verify if this is true and whether its worth it. Ive also heard it works out cheaper than if i bought windows 7 on its own. My other option is to install linux however iv never used it before and not sure its compatible with the software im gona be using over the month. Any opinions on the matter would be greatly appreciated.Thanks

My mouse wheel has stopped working right. It was working till today now it wont scroll wen i move the wheel .....all the other butters work fine....it even quick scrolls wen i push down the wheel and move the mouse.....anybody no how to fix this

Hi i hope someone can help me. My internet browser has started disconnecting at random intervals. Both firefox and ie seem to do it. However its not my computer thats disconnecting as it shows its connected in the bottom left of the screen and my torrent downloader still works fine.....the only way iv found to fix the problem is to restart the computer but this is starting to get annoying. My computer is running vista and an intel PRO wireless 3945ABG network adapter. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I bought a laptop that has vista pre installed and the harddrive has been partitioned into a C and D drive. my question is if i can install a copy of xp i have from a previous computer onto the d drive creating a dual boot system and if i can will each operating system be able to read media files etc from the other drive
