  • Pseudocode and javascript?

    I need to have the user input n numbers and write pseudocode to pick and display the largest integer of all the numbers without using function or array. (assume the input is only whole numbers-no negatives, decimals, fractions..etc....)

  • How to create a do/while statement in javascript?

    I have been trying for days to create a do/while statement using javascript. I need to be able to take a number inputted by a user (ie using the prompt) and sum all the numbers between 1 and the chosen number to give me an answer. (example, user inputs 4 into the prompt box and the answer will yeild 10 from 1+2+3+4!) almost like factorials but summing instead!

    I know I need to use the loop feature, but I cannot get it to work any time I try it.

  • partiale diff eq with a fourier transform?

    D=partial differential

    X=characteristic function

    How do I get started with this:I lost my book and need help with finishing an assignment.

    Du/Dt=Du/Dx-D(^3)U/Dx(^3) , u(x,0)= X[0,1](x)

    What am I supposed to do with a partial diff eq at third degree? If you write it out it might look better than with the slashes.

    thanks all

  • How do I reset my TI-89 to its original settings, it keeps giving me 0 as the answer to any derivative i input

    My TI 89 titanium is awesome, however, lately I must have done something to it, because now whenever I try to solve a derivative or integral its answer is always 0. Even when I put in something simple like d(x^2,x) it always gives me an answer of 0. Is this something anyone is familiar with. I am starting to get a little annoyed because iam in diff eq and really want to be able to use my calculator for the exams to check my answers.

  • Intruding Cats in my flower bed?

    How do I keep a cat from intruding into my flower bed and digging up new plants and seedlings without just shooting at it with an air gun? It is a little flower garden in our front yard and we hate when he camps out and uses the bathroom in our flower bed and then digs at it too and we keep hinting to the neighbors that their cat is invading our yard and even leaving nasty gifts of feces and hairballs all over our yard. And ideas short of building a fence would be welcome.
