I was traveling and connected to the dreaded motel wifi.. after a few minutes of use my antivirus pretty much begged me to scan with a pop up explaining the risk of spyware and Trojans this is not a message I’ve ever received before with my antivirus.. so I did a scan and found nothing, I’m home now on my own wifi, the first time I’ve used my computer since the trip which was about 4 days ago.. Microsoft edge opened immediately upon turning on the laptop and went straight to a windows “tips” page there were 5 pages displaying tips and it opened on the fourth one making me think someone was on there, it prompted me to view my windows security settings. How to check for virus or spyware when norton antivirus says there’s nothing there?
