I'm wondering if I can run synthetic oil in my K1500 5.7 vortec with 182k miles, as it has taken regular oil all it's life. I've heard bad things about putting synthetic in older engines (especially vortecs) and high mileage ones that never had synthetic before. It's had castrol GTX standard oil it's whole life, and I just wanted to switch to GTX high mileage synthetic.

I'm looking for a 33" tire that is good off road in mud, good in snow, and handles the road good. I was thinking either Kelly Safari TSR (285/75R/16) or Firestone Destination M/T. I'd like something with deep tread, but if there's any people with experience with those 2 tires or any recommendations that would be great.

Also these tires will be put on a '94 Z71 Sierra.

I was wondering if it would be okay for me to run my 77 trans am on regular gas, or if I should just stick to supreme.

Or how long could it idle for on a gallon of gasoline, then multiply by 17(gas tank size). Impala is 3.4 liter V6.

Hi all, as I was checking my tire pressure today I noticed a long gash in the sidewall of my passenger front tire. It's a cut that I can slide my about half my index finger in. The interesting part is its cut just above the tire where it holds air, but it's the part of the tire that holds the tread on (Basicially if I put my finger in the cut, I can lift up part of the tire tread). Is it possible to repair this?

I was wondering if a set of tires and rims from a 2010 impala will fit in my 2003 Impala. Both cars have the same tires (225/60R/16), but I didn't know if they would fit or not.

I am looking for winter tires for my 2003 Impala (Base Model) and i was wondering what tire sizes will fit besides the standard 225/60R/16. I have seen people with 215/65R/16, but i just want to be sure.

Ive never heard or seen of anything like this on the Internet. Basically, whenever I lock my phone, my pressing of the sleep button causes a random app to open just as the phone locks. When I listen to music and I double tap the home button from the lock screen the song will restart, or go to the previous song if the controls (the volume, pause, and previous and next buttons) are still there.

I've tried restoring to original settings, and that did nothing. My phone is jailbroken on iOS 5.1.1. Any suggestions to this issue would be greatly appreciated.

At random times, whenever I try to iMessage my friend who has just a iPod Touch, where you type in the message will say "Text Message" instead of "iMessage." is there a way to fix this so it will always send as a iMessage instead of Text?

I've just purchased a can of Seafoam for my 2003 impala, but I don't know how to add the Seafoam to the Vacuum Lines (brake booster) to clean out the carbon from there. Can someone explain how to add Seafoam to the vacuum lines, or point me in the direction of a video tutorial?

My friend is flying back to Canada next week from Germany, and he's telling me abou this switchblade he got. I told him they're illegal, but he is convinced he can get it home, so I'm trying to convince him otherwise, since there could be legal issues.

I was wondering if, one, there is a fine if he gets caught, or is the knife confinscated and your luggage is torn apart when they try to find it.

Second, he thinks magnets he bought will protect the knife from being picked up in the x-ray scanners at the airport, is this true, because it sounds unreasonable to me.

I think there is a fine for bringing illegal knives into Canada, but I'm not 100% sure, I said there was a fine and they take the knife. Is anything he said true?

Im now legal age to purchase tobacco products in the US, but still not old enough in Canada, but I'm confused as the Canadian Border Patrol states;

You have to be 19 in my Provence to buy tobacco, but it says here after 48 hours I'm clear to bring it in. Is this a legal loophole or will they confinscate the tobacco when I declare it and they see I'm not 19? Just looking for clarification.

I was told by a friend it's possible for me (age 18) I can purchase tobacco products in the United States or Europe and bring them back into Canada, because 18 is the age to purchase them in the US and Europe. Does this mean if I went to the US I could buy Cigarettes or Cigars and bring them back to Canada, even though I'm 18 and you need to be 19 to buy them in Canada?

I left the car plugged in overnight, from 9 until 7, and when I started the car, it was still stone cold at -36. Any ideas to why it may not be functioning?

Whenever I use my wipers, they seem to miss patches of my windshield, which it seems because the washer fluid doesn't get there, any ideas on how to fix this? I know it's not the wipers, as I've changed those in a a effort to see if that would work.

Hi all, I had the first generation of the slim ps3, worked great for almost 4 years. But one day it just stopped working, as in it wouldn't power up, no lights or anything. Make a long story short, my warranty had expired, so I just went out yesterday and bought a 500 gig new edition of the slim playstation. Now my question is, is there any way I can get all of my data from my old non working PS3 to my new one, or is it not possible? I had downloaded several games, not to mention lots of game progress.
