This is php question

I have a string that I am using for boolean search in mysql. it looks like this

Look at this string "my fri*".

so i gues in php it will translates into

$a=" look at this string \"my fri*\";

Now I want to turn this string into array so that the phrase inside double quotes stay together. In other words my array would look something like this

look

at

this

string

my fri*

is there a way to do it?

I also have to search for resulting array in another string. So lets say if other string is

$text="why dont you look at this string my friend";

then i could get a match at look at this string my friend.

I have this room water heater in apartment (toronto housing). It doesnt work at all. Building maintenance guy told me my bed and computer desk is close to heater, and the heater need air circulation. In the same setting it worked fine before.

As of today when I touch the heater, it is slightly warmer than my hand at one end and completely cold on the other end.

Now how much space do I really need around the heater for it to work properly? right now my bed is 8 inches away from heater and nothing covers the top area.

How hot the heater should get if it is working properly?

Before all this my room use to get so hot that i had to open the window a little bit in winter. but now it doesnt even warm the air a foot above it.

Please help. what could be the real problem?
