Obviously sunlight contains photons, but do all other sources of light have photons too? For example, if I were to put a solar cell next to a fire or under the light of a television, would there still be photons for the cell to capture? Basically put, are photons something that light inherently comes with?

Also, do DSSCs have PN Junctions? Because there are 2 sites that define the diff generation solar cells differently. Wikipedia's definition leads me to believe DSSCs are 2nd gen while the other site contradicts this by specifically including DSSCs in the example AND saying "Semiconducting device which does not rely on p-n junction and have thin films deposited on supporting substrates". So my questions are: Are DSSCs 2nd, or 3rd gen solar cells? And, do DSSCs use pn junctions?

I'm trying to learn about parts of the solar cells (dye sensitized solar cells mainly) and I keep reading about the diff bands, electrodes, and semiconductor parts. I'm especially confused about the role of the counter electrode and working electrode in the solar cell. So my question is, in a solar cell, how do the (counter electrode/working electrode/transparent electrode), the (valence band/conduction band), and the (p-type/n-type semiconductors) all function and what are their roles in a solar cell?

Okay I know how to redeem and all but im having some trouble. I got the app "app trailers" and Ive been working hard for people to get the app and put in my user name for points to redeem prizes. So far, I redeemed $50.00 in amazon right now, I have over 4000 points in the app. I tried redeeming more and it tells me "Reward Not Available." I tried paypal and it says the same thing. All the prizes are like this. Why so? Im not being allowed to redeem for my 45 dollars worth of points and I don't know why. Is there any way for me to get the money I worked for? HELP PLEASE

Im 13 and I think I have poor blood circulation. When I'm somewhere thats kind of cold for a while, my hands turn kind of redish purple and if I press one hand on the other, theres a clear pale imprint there for several seconds. my friends joke and say I'm cold blooded cuz my hands are as cold as ice sometimes (almost literally). How bad is this? how do I fix this?

Ok. So I bought something over a month ago on media mail (A cheap way of delivery) and its not here. The estimated delivery time was 4 to 11 business days. The 11th business day was july 12th though!! The track and confirm thing on the website said, "Your item was processed through and left our (location 2 hours from where I live) facility on July 4, 2010. The item is currently in transit to the destination". Does anyone have ANY IDEA what, where or why this is??? Its a low chance that it was lost because it was processed through a facility 2 hours away from where I live. PLEASE HELP!

I've been playing it for about an hour and I can't find out how to pause the game. It's really annoying to not know how to pause. I know how to go the list of items or weapons and menu but that doesn't pause the game. How do I pause my game if I want to do something else for a bit? Or is that impossible?

My psp 1001 analog stick is drifting a little. Not the actual analog stick itself, that works just fine. But for example, if I go to the internet, the mouse won't go up much when I press the analog stick up. This problem is only for going up and sometimes down. How do I fix this??? I Dont want to buy another psp. Will I have to buy another piece or something? 10 points for the best answer!

my psp is kinda old but works. I really dont want to get another one. my psp lost its cap/handle thingy for the analog stick but it still works just fine. recently though, the analog stick would stop moving up or down(well the character in the psp, not the analog stick itself). The analog stick itself can move perfectly fine but when I press up, the character wont go forward anymore. the left and right works well but the front and now back wont really move well. HOW DO I FIX THIS??? PLS help!

I want to be able to have some pkmn that knows all the HM moves so I have 2 pokemon designated only to HM moves. I already have Azumarill that knows Surf, Dive, Waterfall and Strength. Is there any pokemon that can learn Fly, Cut, Flash, AND Rocksmash all at once? If not, is there any other combination of 2, if not, 3 pokemon that can learn all 8 HMs?

I heard that if you do this hack too many times, your save file won't be able to save. plus most of the youtube vids for it said something about "however, clockwork events will no longer occur" right after turning the gb back on. Does it cost your saving ability to do this trick?

After you hit "Redeem now" in a redemption, I know you need to put in some kind of shipping info. What do you need to put in and in what order? I want to know so I can be prepared for the redemption.
