Can duromine be traced from drug screening?
Hellow.ive been on duromine for about 3 weeks.its a tablet of 30mg and im taking em twice.i know its slightly overdosed.but it seems no changes in my body weight(i havnt check my weight) as well as my clothes sizes.i just wonder wether it could be trace by any other test than urine drug screening.i asked the labs workers they wether blood test could trace it but he says no.he even told me that urine drug test too wont trace it unlike phentermine.but i wasnt satisfied so i do the the test.the urine one...seriously its negative.but later when i got home, i try to find info regarding this matter.one i got is, he says it could be traced as phentermine if u abused it.what does that means?certain level of duromine in blood will show up in test?is that so?
the second answer is, he used to undergo drug screening test using saliva and it turned positived.
how do doctors determine to get a patient on such drug screening tests?
Medicine1 decade agophentermine and amitriptyline(please only professionals answer)?
Im on amitriptyline 200mg for about 2 years.i gained weight since then.im 158cm hieght and weight 65kg).Recently i bought phentermine 37.5 mg 2x daily(sum of 89mg).my doctor doesnt know that im on it when i went to see him yesterday because im having breathing difficulties and my heart rate is quite irregular(mostly its about 115-125 per minute) .i didnt experienced this in the couple days after on phentermine.it develops gradually.my doctor really thought the rapid heart weight or heart palpitations is because im anxious.so he gave me 0.5mg of xanax to be taken 4x daily(sum of 2mg).he said it will slow down my heart rate...i want to know wether these problems will go away in days later?

1 AnswerMedicine1 decade agohow do doctors know if someone is overdosed?
does a doctor manage to find out that the patient is ovedosed their medications.for example, someone with manic dippression.prescribed with xanax, amitriptylin, valium, stilnox, risperone, etc.i do have a brother with this problem.if he become distress, he will doubtlessly overdosed his medication.he'll took a very high dose of those medications until he became unconcious..something like 'coma' i guess..because every time he did that he will fall 'asleep' for the whole day and sometimes for two consecutive days.i wonder, if i bring him to the ER while he is unconcious, will the doctors there able to know that he is overdosed if i never tell them the reason he is so.would they figure it out?if yes, how do they do that?will they know that he is overdosed or maybe they suspect somethings else maybe other health problems.will they be able to detect the overdosed medications in his body?blood dylisis or urine test to see the amount of those meds he took?im thinking about bringing him to the ER, whenever he is 'high' but im scared he'll become embarassed.he is very secretive about his illness but he is a very smart student.we both rent a house near to our university.the distance between our rented house and our parents house is relatively far.actually, initially i was scared when he never wake up for the who;e day even though i tried very hard to wake him up.punched him, poured the watr on him..but now, im not so worried because everytime the effecst of those medications gone, he'll become normal and manage to perform well in his study.i just want to know, whether doctors could figure out about him being overdosed without i tell them about what is actually happening.how do they know if they suspect he abused his medications? blood test?urine test?any other methods?
i need a very precise and serious answers..please co-operate..thank you.
